I haven’t been in for a while and stopped by last night with a few friends. I’m not sure if there is new ownership or management but whatever it is, it’s not good. One of the bartenders, who claimed to be a manager, was very combative and seemed to be completely strung out..The other 2 bartenders were great and made it worth staying for a few drinks. The atmosphere has always been great, I hope the people in charge can get it together!
First time having my TDL actually scanned by entry man. Apparently this is some kind of "members club" of sorts. The place had a faint unpleasant smell, bathrooms actually smelled cleaner lol. Went on a Monday night so can't really compare the vibes. Seemed like it's for older crowds and might be a place for the occasional regular. Staff seemed friendly once they attended to us. It’s a decent dive bar. It has a twenty something vibe. Bartenders are friendly to a point. Average interaction is what can I get you. All in all solid bar in the legacy. The managers are great I always have a great conversation with them.
