The food was tasty! My Cabbage was a little cold, but I ate it. I ordered the curry chicken which was the Tuesday special - but not if you want white meat. One of the most expensive dishes on the menu is oxtails and I was told by my lunch crew that they were very good. Set the expectation that you won't get an abundance of oxtails in the serving. If you want quantity get chicken dishes not oxtails. It's a reggae atmosphere and gives you the island feeling. If you've been to Jamaica, you will know exactly what I mean. Enjoy the island music while you taste the island cuisine. The owner (I think) was friendly, took our orders/payments and insisted on bringing our food to the table, which was a nice touch. Did I mention, they sell authentic Caribbean foods/ dry foods/Juice/soda/meat patties, teas, cakes etc. One Love!

Our 2nd visit and consistent with the first. They LOAD up the plate so you get what you pay for. Its not just quantity either, the food here is good! Service is good too and mixed with a little Jamaican spice so..."don't start none, won't be none!". Now, you may have to wait a bit for them to prepare it right, so adjust your watch to "Island Time", grab a beverage from the cooler (pay for it!!!), then have a seat and listen to some good music in the bar area.

The food is delicious. Serving traditional Guyanese dishes. Ordered a tray of goat, oxtail and cow foot pepperpot that was excellent. Snapper curry on point. There dhal purrie is also delicious with beef curry. Overall good home cooked GT delicacies!

This place is a GEM 10/10 we ordered 3 meals 1st the oxtail Rasta pasta omfg MUST TRY ! I believe that was literally the best pasta I've ever tasted OXTAIL FALL OF THE BONE TENDER ! Second thing we order was the jerk chicken very tasty 7/10 and LASTLY MUST TRY SOOOOO SOOO SOOO GOOD ! The curry goat ! Fall off the bone tender with rice and peas and cabbage legit the best thing on the menu . Mac and cheese was MID I'll give that a 8 out of 10 very cheesy it would be a 10 if it was creamy . Long story short they took us to Jamaican and I'm going back TODAY !

The food was excellent we had the jerk red snapper oxtails wings plantains so delicious ok still giving them 5 stars they forgot our extra oxtails and wings but was so nice about replacing them whenever I come in or order again I haven't stop telling people about this place very good food

My opinion, but idk what other reviews are tasting, this wasn't it! Portion was the best part of the meal but the chicken isn't jerk, probably smoked definitely not grilled. Whatever jerk they used was smothered on after cooking. Rice had no peas and was bland, no flavor. Cabbage was alright. First ever beef patty, patty was decent beef inside was spicy but bland. Wife had the curry shrimp and was disappointed. Idk what y'all tasting but naw this ain't it!!!!

Food is up right disgusting, i ordered the stewed chicken and only took two bites 0/10 NASTY. The oxtails were okay 4/10, doesn't even taste carribean tastes americanized but nasty never again.

Ordered from here for the first time and I'm mad at myself for not doing it sooner. The oxtail - melt in your mouth delicious. Curry potatoes? 10/10. Jerk chicken was fall of the bone tender and the spice was phenomenal.

When I want good portions with good flavor at a decent price and fast service, you can never go wrong here. The menu consists of Goat curry, Jerky, Riblets , Curry Shrimp, Ox tails, Red Snapper, Chicken Curry, & pork jerky, each of the meals comes with seasoned Beans & rice, and Sautéed cabbage and carrot . I will definitely be back again.

oxtails? let's get into it. okay, i consider myself an oxtail connoisseur, so i take them VERY seriously & have high expectations. i moved here from ATL where we have a huge jamaican population & they throws DOWN, so yea . . high expectations. i ordered from here yesterday via uber eats (Carrollton location)plating: now granted, it probably was the driver's fault, but my plate was a mess. the oxtails were making love to my cabbage and the juice from the oxtails were completely spilled inside the bag - - not a great day for me to choose to wear white. portion: the portion was actually quite large & came with two sides. i wasn't a fan of the rice & peas. they were dry, like overcooked chicken, dry. the cabbage was a little too soft for me, but still good. the oxtails were super large and had a lot of meat, which was awesome because I've experienced fatty oxtails in DFW before. i'm rating it a 4 because the oxtail meat alone was super flavorful and the portions were huge, but the sides alone get a 3 from me.

I very much enjoyed my plate from here some kind of chicken but I can't recall exactly what and all the other dishes smell and look great. They have an area for live music it looks like and there's a grocery store that has lots of different imported products. The service is friendly from the staff.
