Handling a sell of a property for a client and they used this title company to handle their refinance. Well after title work was received, there are still 2 unreleased deeds of trust on title and now have to be taken care of because Transtar National Title did not make sure these were removed from title. They just relied on a credit report that did not show the mortgage on there. Well once something is paid off it will not show up on a credit report after 10 years if there is a good payment history. That does NOT mean that the lien has been removed from title. Now we have to move closing so we can get the two unreleased deeds of trust removed. If you are looking for a title company, I highly suggest you use a local title company not a national title company that does just the bare minimum.

Cannot even get your name spelled right on important documents. Then, when you ask for them to be corrected given the amount of money being sent and the previous mistakes that have been made, you get attitude!

Pretty good title company that the lender uses for my refinance. Went smoothly and I like that they send someone to you to do the closing instead of having to go out during pandemic.

This company does not pay its bills in a timely manner. They do not respond directly to inquires for payments for services rendered. I would not recommend them.
