I used to go to this location frequently over a year ago and they were pretty good. Recently I decided to come back and I was severely dissapointed. The Smoothie did not taste like it nomally did and I get the same thing every time. It was so bad I could only hae a few sips before I threw the rest away. The flat bread was dissapointing as well. it wasn't even grilled, there were only a few shreads of lettuce on it and the bacon looked old. The most dissapointing part about all of this is that we tried to handle our complaints privately by leaving a review on the app for the managers to see so that they can correct the issuse with thier staff. However, they never got back to us or gave us a refund. We also couldn't find a corperate email to email them directly about the issue. Since tropical smoothie cafe isn't lisening us when when tried to reach out to them directly about the issue we are now going public about it and maybe they will hear us now. The reason this review is not one star is because have have gone to this location in the past and everything tasted good.

I have to say, the young lady Sabrina was amazing! I actually felt so terrible for her as she was the only employee working there all by herself! It was early in the morning and she was running around preparing and completing orders after opening by herself! I was initially upset because the order wasn’t ready upon my arrival as I was hoping but then when I realized she was doing EVERYTHING by herself, I felt horrible for being upset and instead realized the management needs to get this young lady some assistance! No single employee should have to do everything without assistance from fellow co-workers! Whomever the manager is, should be ashamed of his or herself! Sabrina was still kind and hard working and apologetic but I quickly asked her not to apologize as the manager should be the one to apologize not just to the morning customers, but also to Sabrina for not doing his or her job and providing adequate scheduling to adhere to the required workforce needed to run a busy location! One employee should not have to open, operate, cook, make drinks, clean, tend to so many customers and all other areas of operation ALL BY HERSELF! Shame on the management team for failing your employees and customer! Get this young lady Sabrina some co-worker help and you should give her a raise for all she has already had to endure on top of better help to do a more than “one man” job! Thank you again Sabrina you are a rock star!

I really want to like this place. The food and smoothies are really good. Unfortunately the staff is the issue. The wait times are long and the orders are routinely wrong. I tried to mitigate the wait time by ordering pickup online but they didn’t start making my wrap until the pickup time. And then it took 10 minutes for them to make the wrong wrap (which I didn’t notice until later). Another customer also had the wrong food and returned while I was waiting. I’ve received the wrong order over 50% of my visits. The staff does not seem to take any pride in their work and are not particularly friendly. Avoid this place unless you have time to wait and correct your order.

I actually like tropical smoothie and have been to it many times. I just started going to this location and it’s been decent not AMAZING or anything, but going in this last time it was empty and I ordered, they made my drink and set it on the back counter and just left it there. Multiple employees had looked at that section and stapled receipts for the to go order but when it came to my drink they just put it aside. There was so many employees in the store with half of them in the back half just messing around and laughing. one left and brought her friends back and took their orders while they where in line and just went behind the counter and started making these other drinks for her friends so they could skip the line ( the line that had formed while I waited 20 min for my drink). After all the people who ordered after me got their drinks, I finally just walked up to the employee and said I think my drink was on the back counter and she grabbed it and low and behold it was my drink. It had just sat there, while all the employees messed around and LITERALLY PLAYING WITH THE STRAWS.I’m all for having a fun environment at a work place but also there is still a job to be done.

Overall you sir blames everyone except for trying to make it, right I ordered a smoothie it wasn’t delivered you and your employee both wanted to put the responsibility on me, I was asked to come and pick up the smoothie, by your employee after I paid for delivery and you the owner wanted to remind me that I got a better deal than going through door dash, or the delivery driver ate it. Maybe so but the point is I didn’t get the smoothie and you sir was literally going back and forth with me over the phone when I called you, You know you wasn’t compassionate about the situation and that’s why you got the 1 star ⭐️ I wish I could give you a 0 star ⭐️

Love Tropical Smoothie where I live up north. This is my first time at this location. I came in the other day in the afternoon and there wasn't anyone in line. I walked up to the counter and there was someone counting money at the register. I stood there between 4-5 mins and was never greeted or acknowledged so I just left. Probably won't come back here again.

I normally order breakfast at this location and I’ve never had an issue with my orders. My order is always waiting for me on time at the pick up shelf.Today’s Sunday afternoon crew was a very different experience. I was not greeted and noticed that there were no orders at the pick up shelf when I arrived. I waited at a table for 20 minutes thinking that they were running behind because of the lunch rush, trying to give the benefit of the doubt. The employees were visibly arguing, causing tension.I finally went to the register to ask about my order and it had been sitting behind the counter the entire time. Not super impressed with the Sunday afternoon crew.

This place has zero leadership. The employees were whispering when picking up my order. I’m hearing impaired and i couldn’t hear anything they were saying. Not to mention the blenders were loud. So whispering to me is wild. Secondly they had 2 guys on food that were just standing in the back looking at something cook. All while there were 6 smoothies just sitting next to blenders with a store full of people waiting to be handed out. There was only one person on smoothies which was the most requested item. I finally got my smoothies after 40 minutes of waiting. And all of them tasted like water. They had no flavor. Everyone in the store was pissed off. Another lady said she had been waiting for an hour for smoothie bowls which i believe because she was there before I was. Yall reallyneed to do something. I am not coming back to this location.

Upon arriving, Employee said there was no chicken, which is odd for a place that has chicken in everything. Ordered a hummus wrap instead, and they looked super agitated like I somehow beat the system. Another group came in, clearly knew the employees stole some cookies and hung out. when I finally got my wrap, it was not cut and half was only hummus.It was also handed to me with the enthusiasm of a student who was just told they have to repeat their senior year.Literally felt unwelcome and like I ruined their day. I just needed lunch.

The first time I have ever been to a tropical smoothie before, and i am hooked now.The smoothie was great, and food was great.The real reason I am coming back though is the customer service. Had a young lady named Mickeynzie help me during my visit, and she was just amazing. Super friendly, recommended a Blimey Limey which I loved, and a buffalo chicken wrap which was delicious.Have been back 2 times in 2 weeks and will continue to come back because of the great service from Mickeynzie!!
