“The teas are so good. The problem with this place is that they do not know how to serve people. Today they served the three people that ordered after me while I waited and only ordered three drinks the same number as them. It was very disappointing and like I was a burden. I really wish this wasn’t the case because I really do like this place.”

“My mother introduced me to this place years ago. Ever since then I've been eating their off and on when I have time to stop and eat during my lunch break. Yes it is a small building but there you can actually eat outside they have a few tables it's basically a place that you would have found back in the day. And I usually get the hamburger baskets.
And yes the comment from Renee R it doesn't have any flavor so yes I do add salt and pepper because there are people out there who cannot have Salt. Which is very understandable. So please don't put this place down because it had no flavor.
Even Culver's doesn't have any flavor either so I add salt and pepper to it.
So other than that it is a nice little place to eat!”

“When I tell you I come here so often that I started knowing everyone’s names by heart ,it’s too often!! I love getting myself a nice daiquiri but this is by far the BEST place to get them. Want a cheap 32 oz that’ll have you feeling TOO GOOD for less than $20? Tip included. This is the spot. Blanca is amazing. She helped me by pointing out the menu and telling me about the best sellers. I’m so glad this place isn’t going out of business, but everyone needs to know about you guys! “We went for lunch on a Wednesday. Shared the chicken panini and it was amazing. More than ample chicken/toppings and the alfredo sauce is out of this world rich & creamy. I took the top bun off, cut up the bottom bun & mixed it with the chicken, spinach & alfredo sauce, eating it with a fork. Then used my top bun to sop up the remaining sauce. Mmmmm, so good! And great price for the amount!

Parking: We went on a Wednesday for lunch. No parking issues but have seen this place absolutely packed on Friday & Saturday nights.”

“My wife and I tried out the Food Zone in Porter today. We had been wanting to try it out but had not made time to try one of these food trucks. As far as the Food Zone is concerned, I was happy to see how clean it was. The gem for me is El Rey de Las Tortas. I was very pleased with the selection to choose from. The place is neat and clean. The music was not loud and nice to hear. I like the TV screens for entertainment. I ate the torta La Aborazada. It was such a good torta. They pack it with meat and all the good stuff. I was so full I could not finish it. I like that it came with fries and a small cup of charro beans. I definitely recommend to try this place out. I will be going back and I will update this review as I try more options.”

“Was at Back Pew this weekend 3/1/25 for a car show. Car show and live music were very nice, but the food vendor (Temo’s Kitchen) was below par. Temo’s Kitchen was a food vendor at the event. Placed an order with the vendor and was told it would take about an hour to prepare. The order took longer than suggested...and the order was wrong. To correct the order would have taken more time. I was hungry. I ended up giving my food away, leaving the event, and getting food elsewhere. Again, the car show and the live music were nice…, but I was highly disappointed with the food vendor, Temo’s Kitchen.”

“every since I first bought a Hunt Brothers pizza I was sold to deliciousness. I worked for pizza hut at the time and the second time I bought a Hunt Brothers pizza I told the clerks at the store the pizza to me is better than Pizza Hut. then I seen the sign in the window and found out Hunt Brothers has breakfast pizza and it's been a little over four years now and Hunt Brothers pizza is all I buy. what I love is taste, quality, price and fact the toppings don't cost extra. keep up the good work and keep the customers happy. “This seemed to be the new food truck in this park. They don't have the flashy signs or loud music, which I didn't mind. The food was good and came with more than I expected. I got fried shrimp and it came with shrimp fried rice and French fries. I really liked all 3 parts of my meal. The lady that was working the truck was really sweet.”

“This place doesn't look like much but the customer service at the counter was awesome. I was helped by 2 employees that were very patient with me while I looked at the menu and made a decision. The food was brought out in a reasonable time frame and the quality was not what I was expecting. The fish was fresh and it had crispy batter. My okra was pleasantly crunchy and piping hot. The shrimp on my platter was great and well as the chicken tender. I was expecting subpar quality but they went above and beyond! Now that I know where they are located, I'll be making frequent trips for my cravings. I would recommend this eatery to EVERYONE.”

They have run into some kind of problem with people ordering and not paying and they are no longer taking cash. this affects my ability to order and will make it to where I can no longer order pizza from Marcos normally there is someone there that is capable of allowing cash payment for a regular customer. that no longer seems to be the case as they said the manager was not around. this is very disappointing.”

“I've dined here numerous times with my family but last night was a first for us. I have 4 kids. So a party of 6 total. 2 of my kids are teenagers and had adult plates, 2 had kids meals. We were charged an automatic gratuity of 25%. I get it but it was a first for me from this location. Not sure if I'll be returning as it was right at $200 to eat out.”
