This was such a good idea for Portland! The sushi and sashimi is delicious and the hibachi is solid. I have been several times and never had a bad meal. I have not tried the cocktails, but the bar area looks nice as well.
What a neat place! My wife and I took our 2 young daughters in to experience the hibachi grill. They loved it. It is very authentic with a real Asian chef and server, which is always a plus. If I'm going out for ethnic food, I prefer that ethnicity be the ones to prepare it to give it that authenticity. The service was excellent and the food was great. Very reasonably priced as well. We've been there twice. The first time, we got sushi and it was very good. I do want to go back and try their hibachi at some point. But their Chinese entrees are pretty lacking. My husband got the Sesame Chicken, which was overly sweet. I got the General Tso's... it has a chili next to it on the menu, but there is absolutely no spice whatsoever.I think if we only stuck to sushi, I would have given it 5 stars. But the entrees are very lacking.
