6 Best Sushi Bars near Portland

“We've been there twice. The first time, we got sushi and it was very good. I do want to go back and try their hibachi at some point. But their Chinese entrees are pretty lacking. My husband got the Sesame Chicken, which was overly sweet. I got the General Tso's... it has a chili next to it on the menu, but there is absolutely no spice whatsoever.I think if we only stuck to sushi, I would have given it 5 stars. But the entrees are very lacking.“

“Everything about Oyshi Sushi is spectacular. I wish I could eat here everyday and I will be going well out of my way anytime I can when I'm traveling near this part of the state. The service is amazing and the Sushi will have you writing home about it. Sit at the bar and ask Jason or Roz for a Mexicali roll if you like spicy and raw, you're going to love it!“

“From the outside it doesn't look promising. I was greeted with the warmest welcome. I was dining alone and sat at the bar. The menu had great choices. The cook helped me decide. It was a choice of sashimi. The presentation was flawless. The taste was great as well. Definitely worth checking it out.“

“This place is absolutely amazing. I've been coming here for over 15 years. The only complaints I have are the rising costs, understandable, and the smaller loaf of bread that is free, lol. The lemon dill sauce on their salmon is absolutely to die for. If you're looking for a more affordable dish that you'll be hooked on, try the grilled chicken wedge salad with their homemade dressing. The only part of you that won't be happy after you leave here is your pocket book.“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We used the Sushi Loft for a Wedding Anniversary gathering, and this place exceeded our expectations! Everything was very clean, and the service was amazing with no flaws or delays despite having a party of 20! Alyssa, our waitress was just the greatest!!!! She was very kind and patient, and very very helpful! We were able to put little decorations on the table, making it even more personal for our event! The drinks and food were fantastic! Michele made sure to answer all of our questions prior to our event and she was very informative on everything! We will definitely reserve this place for future events!!!!“

“Everything was great! Food, drinks and atmosphere were all wonderful. My only small issue was the wait time. We were told the kitchen was short staffed so there was a bit of a longer wait than usual. I'd say an additional 30 minutes. But other than that, we were very pleased. And will definitely be back!
