“I'm a local, try to eat here at least once a week, mark and his women, marks a real cowboy busted up kinda like a walking museum , good people, love ❤️ the slop bucket, brisket, sausages, dang home made French fries are bar nun anywhere I've ever ate ,simply a hole in wall experience, and there honestly to cheap to quality of food ratio, your loss respectfully“
“My husband and I both got hamburgers, and they were really good. Big buns, juicy meat, just the right size without being too big.We sat in a booth and it was really peaceful as the restaurant atmosphere was a quiet hum, no loud TV on, just the muffled sound of pots banging in the kitchen and a hint of the soft voices of the women talking as they cooked and cleaned in the back.We stayed close by at The Budget Inn, an old "motor court" motel, and walked over here for dinner during our quick rest stop while driving from Colorado to the Texas Coast.“
“Amazing!Sorry for the long post, but...So glad my dad mentioned he was thinking he was hungry for BBQ when he did. We were about 5 miles south of Post and on our way towards Lubbock and he asked me to look for some BBQ. This place came up with excellent reviews and others saying you have to stop if you come through. So we made the stop early for lunch and it definitely didn't disappoint! We are headed to Albuquerque from Florida and just passing through. It was a perfect place to stop for an excellent home cooked meal. The owners were friendly, the place was busy and the locals definitely come here for lunch which is a good sign! The food was excellent! My dad had the brisket sandwich. I had a mac-n-cheese bowl topped with pulled pork (I can't remember the awesome creative name). I missed getting a picture of his huge sandwich, but mine is attached. They also have a map that you can place a pin where your from. It is so cool. They have had people from every state and manycountries. Just the neatest place. Will definitely be back if we are through this area again!“
