It is family ran and has been for 18 years!When you decide to visit, understand this, your food will not come out right away like in a nasty restaurant like olive garden! It will come out in a few minutes or more, but please remain in your seats and do not leave! The food you will be served is freshly made, it will come out hot and homemade! No, seriously, the pasta noodles and bread are all made by the family! It is open seating, but remember it is a smaller restaurant, so if your party is huge, a little advanced notice might be appreciated!Now, back to the food!?? (what I ate personally)Spaghetti and meat balls: This particular dish is something I stay weary of as a lot of spaghetti pasta sauce has mushrooms, but thankfully, at Roma's it is just a tomato sauce and it is AMAZING! I can't even explain the noodles, but I can tell you they were a 1000 times better than box noodles! Those meatballs ? bro! Just...??bro... not only were they larger than expected, but they were like a light punch of flavor that paired perfectly with the tomato sauce! All in all, for the spaghetti, I'd give it a solid 8.5 out of 10. The tomato sauce itself could have used more flavor, but I will most definitely be getting more spaghetti!!!Stuffed Shells: This particular meal should be illegal! It takes you on a journey, dude! Like in Ratatouille when he starts seeing every single ingredient, yea like that! It is just as good with every bite, and so far, my favorite pasta dish from any restaurant EVER! A solid 10 out of 10!Tiramisu: I am not a fan of tiramisu, as it is normally overly baring with sweetness. You can't appreciate the flavor of something when it is just way too sweet. However, I don't know what they're doing up there at Roma's, but that tiramisu was amazing! Was it sweet, sure, but a gentle sweet. I could actually focus on the other flavors in the tiramisu and enjoy all of them! Solid 9 out of 10 on that!Nutella Cheesecake: I used to love chocolate and still find myself wanting more than one should! Nutella just happens to be my favorite chocolate, so of course I had to try it & of course it was fantastic. This one, even though delicious, just wasn't it for me! It was just about perfect, but something wasn't there for me, and so I'm going to give this a 7 out of 10.(Things my husband ordered & I stole a bite)Shrimp Scampi: it was really good! I'm not much of a seafood in my pasta kinda person, but this was very good! 8 out of 10!Pizza: yall, did I mention IT IS FRESH MADE BREAD that includes the pizza dough! He got the mozzarella pizza with the pepperoni, and it makes Grimaldi's look bad bro!Staff amazingFood AMAZINGFresh every time?!? 100%authenticity 100%It deserves the starts!”

“Great food and service. People do not realise there are two different buildings. One is smoking (left door) and one is non smoking (right door). The waitress will cash you out if you're in the non smoking section. No need to have to go between. I've ate in both sides, both fitting and enjoyable.”

“Reminds me of the fun dive bars I am use to. Everyone having a good time. Everyone looks over shoulder and sees who is coming in and then makes room for a seat at the bar. Plenty of people to talk to and some wild stories. Also space to just chill for a moment a lone. You do have to become a "member" and it IS a SMOKING establishment so be warned. Overall I'll be back.”

“The staff was very nice and let me check in early so I could catch my boat ride on beautiful Lake Texoma, I was grateful. My room was clean and well kept. I enjoyed the restaurant on site; having breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a robotic cat that delivered the food that made it a fun experience. Abby was my server and she was friendly. Perfect view of the lake from the observatory tower. I would stay here again.”

“Sonic is so good. It's just a classic restaurant that I hope holds up for a long time! The burgers are great. The chili coney is great. The chicken is kinda bad, but that's just my opinion.Now that tropical slush tastes like PURE CHEMICALS, it was disgusting. My only complaint for the restaurant itself. The other complaint is for the mobile app, which is a different review!”

“Brisket was super tasty. Pulled pork was excellent. Would strongly recommend also ordering the cherry pie which comes with ice cream that whipped cream. Baked beans were really good. Server was Cassidy who was extremely helpful. Sweet corn was also tasty. Would definitely come back if I was in the area. Place has a cool look to it, lots of signed dollars on the ceiling, so cool stuff hanging on the wall. All the staff were super nice and helpful.”

“This place exceeded my expectations! The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a party of twelve and received exceptional service. I enjoyed the waffle with blueberries and pecans, two eggs, bacon, and sausage. Our table also ordered migas, avacado toast, cinnamon roll pancakes, crepes, chicken fried steak breakfast, and almost one of each kids' meals. I was pleasantly surprised to find out this is a family ran establishment. I always like to support locally owned family ran businesses. I will most definitely be back!!! I will also recommend tbis place to anyone that will listen because it's amazing! I have found my new breakfast spot for sure!”

The margarita I ordered was very well prepared and all the other servers were very friendly. I highly recommend it for a day out as a couple or even with the whole family as the prices are very reasonable and the portions are quite good. The only observation and it makes me proud is that we were the only Hispanics and our Anglo friends were enjoying themselves at the bar and the neighboring tables were full of them enjoying the Hispanic delicacies. “The war pig taco was the star of the show tonight. We also enjoyed the brisket taco! We felt the crispy chicken lacked something as a taco but we'd eat that fried chicken by itself all day long. Definitely kid approved. The pork belly was a little too fatty for me but it had a great flavor. We will pass on the corn and queso next time.”

You can tell that everything is homemade, even things like the corned beef and the potato chips. I think the bread is house made too or at least ordered fresh. It's just fantastic. And the people are friendly, welcoming, and quick too. When we are there, it was a chilly, cloudy day and the cozy but fun cafe setting was perfect. You could tell the locals frequented loyally. When we ordered delivery, everything was packaged with care, and the sandwiches were perfectly intact when they arrived. (HUGE sandwiches by the way). A must-visit!”

“We moved to Sherman 2 years ago and we recently found an excellent Mexican food restaurant in Sherman. Bruno’s Mexican Kitchen has great enchiladas and I love the chicken fajita salad. The guacamole is so fresh, some of the best I have ever had! The wait staff is so prompt and friendly. It is very clean and has fun decor! It definitely 5 stars in my book!!”
