“The food was tasty! My Cabbage was a little cold, but I ate it. I ordered the curry chicken which was the Tuesday special - but not if you want white meat. One of the most expensive dishes on the menu is oxtails and I was told by my lunch crew that they were very good. Set the expectation that you won't get an abundance of oxtails in the serving. If you want quantity get chicken dishes not oxtails. It's a reggae atmosphere and gives you the island feeling. If you've been to Jamaica, you will know exactly what I mean. Enjoy the island music while you taste the island cuisine. The owner (I think) was friendly, took our orders/payments and insisted on bringing our food to the table, which was a nice touch. Did I mention, they sell authentic Caribbean foods/ dry foods/Juice/soda/meat patties, teas, cakes etc. One Love!“

“This place was recommended to my husband and I so we decided to try it out after having dinner downtown. We were looking for a Caribbean spot where we could chill, have some good drinks, and listen to some nice music. Service was good - we were seated as soon as we arrived and had a great view of the band. The rum punch was good, but a little too sweet - I ended up with a headache when I got up in the morning and I made sure I was ready to have a good time before I went out (Liquid IV for the win!). We enjoyed the vibe, though, and there is plenty of seating if you want to make a reservation. The music was great and exactly what we were looking for. We'll be back to try the food another time.“

“The food was fabulous. Our waitress was friendly and recommended our meal. She also warned us about the very spicy sauces. Best jerk chicken we've ever had (even in Jamaica). The curry chicken was wonderful, and the fried fish filet was perfect. We had a Red Stripe and the mango mojito (highly recommend). It was so good and reminded us of a special trip to Jamaica with its authenticity. Will definitely come back.“
