Order box lunches for a work event in Garland. They delivered everything on time and the food was amazing. We had to up our order last minute and they were wonderful to accommodate.

This company is absolutely amazing! They catered Thanksgiving lunch for one of my clients at Bank of America and they provided top notch service and food! I highly recommend them for any event large or small. They are phenomenal! Thank you guys!

I cannot begin to express the nightmare that it was dealing with this catering company and especially with Chef Carl. They get one star from me only because Yelp won't allow me to make it zero. Chef Carl took my first $2600 payment and I never heard from him again. Strap yourself in because this is gonna be a long one. I booked this company on May 4th of 2022 for a wedding on July 11th because our original caterer went out of business. Those were the most stressful two months of my life and it was all mainly due to them. My wife and I booked everything for the wedding ourselves and out of 18 other vendors and this company was literally the only one that gave us issues. Here was what, I can now recall, was the first red flag I should've caught when speaking to Chef Carl. Everytime we had a question about things that would be included with the booking he would respond with what I can only describe as "arrogance." Asking him questions like "can we please make sure we have chicken breast instead of chicken thigh" would usually be followed with a condescending nod and "sure" or "look I've been doing this for 20 years..." or something along those lines. At the time my thought process was, "he's probably heard these questions a million times and that's probably why he's responding like this' '. Turns out that that was his attitude all along. After that, the following two months were just a blur of unanswered texts, emails, questions and wrong invoices followed by the lack of an actual process to actually iron out details regarding the booking. A month away from the wedding our questions were simple " when do we have to give you our final RSVP count? and when do we have to pay you by?" but as he refused to answer back and he just kept sending incorrect quotes and invoices, more and more questions piled up that he just refused to acknowledge. Simple things like "can you please give us the options for our guests that need diabetic entrees?" or "why does the "operation and admin fee" keep going up in each invoice?" A week away from the wedding he still refused to give us any type of reasonable communication so we made the call to cancel the booking and just find a new caterer, and thank goodness we did because it turned out that Chef Carl was scamming us the entire time. The last communication we had with him was after I sent him a long message explaining why we are cancelling our booking. He called me, because he doesn't like to keep things on record, he won't answer emails, he just always calls even though I repeatedly asked to please answer in writing. I knew this so I decided not to answer, so he left a voicemail (which i kept) basically gaslighting me saying things like "I don't know what you are stressing about, your wedding is not for a week, I don't usually do anything until 2 days before". I called him back and just said "we just want our money back" to which I just recieved a "Ok, just tell me where to send the check" and hung up. Then I sent him a text message with the address to which he replied "ok". And that, ladies and gentlemen is the last time I ever heard from Chef Carl. I sent him emails, texts, phone calls, voicemails which he never replied to and he never returned my money. So as I said, we are pretty sure we were getting scammed the entire time. I'm just writing this review now because we ended up having to dispute the charge with our bank and that's how we ended up getting our money back. He never returned it. So now that we have it expect to see this exact review in every possible review platform because everyone in TX should be aware that Chef Carl, in my experience, is not reputable, is not client friendly and most importantly is very likely a scam.

DON'T DO IT. Notice how all the reviews on here are old? That should've been our first red flag. We've had an absolutely horrible experience with this company, so don't let those 'high reviews' fool you. This is an unprofessional company you should stay away from so you don't make the same mistake we made in hiring Chef Carl. Due to our original caterer going out of business, we'd hired this company to cater our wedding two months before the event, with the understanding that they'd be able to accomodate us and handle everything that we needed. We made our first deposit the same day we had the tasting (which was sub-par, but we didn't have a lot of options). All of our communication was thru the owner - Chef Carl. After they got that first payment, responses to our questions were both slow and non-existent. He'd completely ignore our questions, was always 'busy' or somehow on vacations every time we'd try to call for responses. His response when we finally got a hold of him would be 'i'll get it to you tomorrow' which of course--never happened. What we were asking wasn't difficult--an updated invoice, questions on dietary restrictions, final-count due date, normal wedding questions. Finally, after my fiance left a voicemail (because he stopped answering our calls) exactly ONE WEEK before our wedding, we told him we were cancelling and to refund our money due to non-responsiveness. He proceeded to call back the next day to say that "I'll refund you, but I don't know why you're so stressed out. I've been doing this for 20 years and no one's ever stressed out. I go over details 2 days before the event." Did you read that? TWO DAYS before the wedding, is when he was expecting to get our final count, and to sort out all of our miscellaneous questions. I can only assume he's been lying about working in the wedding industry for 20 years because i KNOW that's not normal. We had logistic questions, food questions, multiple details that needed to get figuired out--but he was always MIA. I understand that vendors get busy, especially right now with all the weddings but this is ridiculous. Not to mention the fact, that we're planning a wedding. I have multiple other vendors to deal with and family in town. I'm not going to be spending the last 2 days before my wedding getting my caterer sorted out. And the best part? He never returned our money. We had to go thru a bank dispute and wait 2 months AFTER the wedding for us to get our refund. Don't make the mistake of hiring this fraud.

Mary is an absolute doll, she was early, setup was quick and easy and the food was excellent. I had to feed 8 men and every single one of them cleaned their plates! The chicken was perfectly cooked with a superb sauce, whipped potatoes were excellent and the cheesecake was divine! Thank you so much for helping me welcome our newest VP in style!

We had a fabulous buffet prepared for 50 people for our neighborhood Holiday Party! The food was excellent and some of the best we've ever had at our functions. Desserts were to die for! Everything was set up promptly and the decorations were very festive. The staff did a fantastic job of serving and taking care of everyone. I would highly recommend them and Chef Carl and will definitely be using them again!

This past weekend we hired them for a graduation party. Originally I was told that they would set up at 12:30 the gentleman arrived at three. My guests arrived at two. That could be forgiven for the rain. The aesthetics were completely nonexistent. The food mediocre. However, the reason I'm leaving this review is that we had contracted them to bring a dessert tower to include lemon bars, cake pops, brownies, cupcakes and the top layer being a scraped cake. They did not bring it at all!!!! The gentleman brought two plastic trays and a package of large chocolate muffins which he quartered and put on the tray. He then slivered a lemon cheesecake and put on another plastic tray. When I asked about where the beautiful cake tower and desert tower was, he kept feigning he knew nothing! In fact, he was the owner of the company. Since then, I have not been able to get in touch with them whatsoever. All I want is the $300 back for the cake/dessert tower. That's it! Yet, they intend on blocking me and ignoring all communication. First of all the cake is the centerpiece of any special event and as a caterer to not show up with one, and then try and pass off store-bought chocolate muffins cut into four pieces is just horrible. But to ignore the customers demand for a refund for something they paid for which was NOT DELIVERED shows LACK OF CHARACTER. They just can't be trusted!

The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We had a group of 170 and needed everything individually packaged, and Carl was able to deliver. The food was delicious, the presentation was great, especially considering it was all individualized packaging. It was a big hit with the crowd here. I highly recommend 3 Dimensional Catering and look forward to ordering from them again.
