“Michelle gave my boyfriend & I phenomenal service yesterday. We frequent this location often & all of the servers always take good care of us, but Michelle is crème de la crème. She was very attentive, anticipated our needs & made sure we left happy. S/o to you Michelle :) You made our night!“
“We were driving through downtown Plano, looking for an adventure, and ready for anything to come our way .. when Mama Vicky's caught our eye. This tiny restaurant had impressive reviews, so we decided to try them. This was a new style of food for us, so we tried several items from their menu. We ordered a Cubana sandwich, chicken Sope, pork Pupas, and a beef taco. Be prepared to wait a hot minute because they make everything from scratch, order per order. Everything was fresh and delicious. Authentic mexican food. What made it exceptionally delicious for us was taking the lettuce, tomato, feta pieces that fell on our plate, and adding that to our beef taco. Oh yum! TIP: There are only 3 handicap parking spaces across the street, no crosswalks nearby, and this is a very busy street! All 3 handicap spots were full when we arrived, and they were full when we left. TIP: Parking is a beast! Be prepared to circle the downtown Plano area and walk a few blocks, especially during busy times. TIP: There are only 7 tables inside. Two tables hold 6+ people, and the rest are 4 tops. No outside seating.“
“I am Salvadorian American so I am extremely picky with my pupusas. I must say that this place is the best there is! I love their new location and they have the most amazing quesadillas (Salvadorian sweet bread with cheese) which you can enjoy with your cafecito while waiting on your pupusas ?“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I couldn't be more thrilled to share my experience. The restaurant is managed by Marina, the heart and soul of this establishment. She flawlessly captures the essence of Salvadorian cuisine. The authenticity and flavor of the food transported me back to the streets of El Salvador. The pupusas, in particular, were a revelation. Each bite was a perfect harmony of thick, cheesy goodness, a testament to Marina's years of expertise honed in El Salvador. It's evident that she has stayed true to her roots, creating a culinary haven that brings the best of Salvadorian cuisine to Texas.Marina's dedication to her craft shines through not just in the pupusas but in every dish served. The menu is a delightful journey through the diverse flavors of El Salvador. Her passion for the cuisine is palpable, and it translates into an unforgettable dining experience.I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of an authentic Salvadorian experience. Marina's commitment to quality, combined with the warm atmosphere and mouthwatering dishes, makes it a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu.“
“This Gloria’s location is the best location to visit at any time of the day. Their food is fresh and extremely tasteful, Memo was our waiter and he was exquisite to say the least. The experience he provided, reminded me of when I stayed at 5 star resort. This place makes you feel at home with the amazing service they provide. Their wait times are extremely minimal. I have been to Gloria’s in dallas, rockwall, and other nearby locations, this location is one of the best, they are extremely hospitable and make sure you have an unforgettable experience. Esteban the manager personally greets every guest that comes through his door, the hostesses always greets you with a smile and delightful attitude. I love Gloria’s however, the Gloria’s experience in Garland is incomparable and I would reccomend this location for any company parties, family parties, girls brunch, or even dates. AMAZING! I cannot give them kudos enough, Jose Fuentes and Nancy Reyes can be extremely proud of the team that has been taking care of their Garland Location because they are remarkable to say the least. Thank you to every single one of the team members of Gloria’s for taking care of us every single time we come out. It has always been an unforgettable experience.“
“Came to dinner with my lovely girlfriend had Joshua as our server, Who is absolutely amazing, very attentive, and also suggested a few items on the menu because I started a new diet. Worked with me on helping me the perfect meal. I highly recommend one of my favorite spots in town and make make sure you ask for Joshua.“
“I thought I try this place out. Don’t drive pass this place without going in. Omg the tacos and pupusa were so good. I’ll definitely found me a new lunch spot. The customer service was good too. The food is price just right. Love this place. I’ve already told my colleagues about this place.“
“Food was good overall. Quality and prepared fresh. The plates were styrofoam which was a huge turn off. Number one you can't really cut into those and it's not like they don't have actual hard plates to serve food on cause they had half our order on them. Just odd. For $35 I would appreciate a real plate I don't cut INTO. Still the food was decent (I got pupusas) but not the best I've had (Vickie's was closed that day). My husband loved the burrito but they were out of lengua and tripas. Kind of a let down. Service was very good. The young lady and her mom run the show and they are very sweet. 5 stars for service. Ambiance isn't much to write home about. It's a hole in the wall vibe but I could care less if food and service are good. The downside to the place is the shared bathroom space with a gas station and chicken shack. No toilet paper, no soap, no paper towels and not the best kept. What the heck???? Next time I have to come here it'll be for take out honestly. I still give it 4 stars cause food and service is stellar when you take into account I wasn't the only one rating the food“
“A hidden gem in Casa Linda. 45 minutes The food was so delicious! I had some great pupusas and the churrasco chapin. The steak was tender and very flavorful, the chorizo was awesome, too, with a deliciously distinct flavor, and all the accompaniments made for lots of different, wonderful bites. In addition to the fantastic food, the service was friendly and prompt, and I loved all of the plants that decorate the restaurant.“
“Talk about a an absolute gem of a restaurant!! Traveled to Dallas with my girlfriend from California and thought we wouldn't be able to find Mexican food comparable to back home but Gloria's has what it takes to be a top restaurant. Luis was our server and gave us/the tables around us the attention that's deserving of 5 stars. The staff was very attentive and made the experience so enjoyable. The interior has both a fine dining feel and can be enjoyed by those who are looking for a casual night out. One of our favorite spots we were able to attend while on our vacation!!“
“Better hurry. Once the word gets out about this place...lines gonna be long---I had the flowers. They were phenomenal as is.Everybody has rice and beans, but these rice and beans are better than the average bear. The air conditioner works very well and they have some stuff on the TV to watch while you eat.not going to drive down the street anymore... found my new spot“

“Took my boyfriend's parents for their first Salvadoran food experience. Oy one of us speaks any Spanish - albeit very little. The staff did not speak English, but everyone was welcoming, warm, and we absolutely dumbked our way through a fantastic dinner. The pupusas and tamale con elote were amazing!“
“I don't live in Dallas but this is the second time I have eaten here and the food has been so good. The first time was 2023 and had the chimichanga with shredded chicken and was good. This time in 2024 I had the Baja shrimp and that was amazing! The sauted veggies were amazing. The rice is so good and the shrimp are huge and wrapped in bacon! We had ordered an appetizer of yellow qaeuso and that was so good. I wasn't too impressed with the margarita which was top shelf, but I will be back to this place again and maybe just have a beer.“
“Got into their parking lot by mistake! Was about lunch time so when I saw the place decided to try it out, it was two week ago and since then me and some of my workers have been taking lunch there every day, food is great and very friendly people. Totally recommend this place.“
“I wasn't expecting much. I'm very familiar with Hispanic foods, being Hispanic helped. But not Salvadorean food.Tried Pupusas for the first time here. I can't imagine them being any better. Delicious! And the dipping sauce - what is it? It's amazing. Almost sweet, a wonderful touch of spice at the beginning. So good. I tried the pork and the mixta with pork and loroco. Both excellent.Only down side is they close around 8pm.Try and tell me if I'm wrong ✌️“
“Great place for some good home made Pupusas. I also wanted to recommend the Salvadoran tamales. They are different from Mexican tamales but they are filled with delicious flavor and they melt it you mouth. So if you are the garland area plz stop by I highly recommend.“
“First time trying it out, came in on a Friday a little after 530pm. The lady was super nice and explained the menu to us since it's our first time trying the place. My husband and I got the pupusa platter- comes with 3 pupusa with your choice of meat, rice, beans, salad, slaw and salsa. We both got 2 chicharrón and 1 pollo pupusa with our platters. Full of flavor, made fresh, the cheese was still gooey, definitely hits the spot. It took a while for our order to come though bc I believe they make it fresh, they don't make the pupusa until someone orders it,we didnt mind the wait though, so worth it. The horchata wasn't like Mx horchata, it tasted a little different, it was like powdered candy that someone added water too, I don't think I'd get that again. We also ordered a pastor taco and that was amazing too. The pastor was marinated really really well, very tender meat and they grill it to get a few crispy edges. We also got a chicken tamal, it was ok, it was more masa than chicken but very flavorful. Other than the horchata, everything else we ordered did not disappoint.Parking: It's quite a tight space for parking, might be an issue finding one if they're super busy. But we came on a non-busy time so we had no issues parking.Kid-friendliness: By the cashier, they have candies and other treats for kids. Kids menu is also pretty varied, there are a handful of food that kids could choose from on the menu.“
“I just now ordered the pupusas chicharrón and they were delicious! they also came with salsa de jitomate and repollo! The flavors were on point and the texture was just right. I also ordered the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans and the beans were kind of dry as well as the rice. The flavor of the enchiladas were actually pretty good but they weren't exactly my kind of enchiladas I am looking for. Overall I would come back for the pupusas & the food was great!!“
“The pupusas here are DELISH! I just wish they would put more calabaza than they did on mine. There is a bit of a wait, however, everything is made fresh - made to order! It's worth the walk through the bazaar and the wait! Menu prices are clearly visible and the cashier lady is always nice when we've gone. The pupusas also come with little salsa (red and green) and a yummy slaw-like salad.“
“I like to visit this place at least once a week, the customer service is special, you can order in person by phone or however you wish and the waiting time is short.Parking: It's a little big square and there is plenty of parking, no problem.“
“Our family decided to try a new place for us. We thought this was a Mexican place, but it turned out up be Salvadoran. We all ordered something new and enjoyed the food. We found the music a little loud, but we were all sitting under a speaker. I loved the pupusas - a new dish for all of us.“
“Small and Quaint.Busy, so they take forever. Delicious and definitely worth the wait. I usually get their beef tacos. I got their seafood stew when I was sick once. So good. Revuelta Pupusas are always good.Ooh, their corn tamales. My goodness, their corn tamales. I always get one to go. Tamarind Agua.“
“The restaurant is very clean and tidy, the owner of the place treats you like family and the best is the food is always hot and super Salvadoran. I recommend it to everyone. Let's support restaurants like this one that puts the name of our country high. Thank you Morenita 100% Salvadoran “
“Friendly staff and wonderful food is a combination that works in this restaurant. What a treat! It was my first visit, but it won't be my last.Vegetarian options: I got 1 @of cheese, spinach and cheese, and pumpkin and cheese Pupusa. With them was served a side of delicious slaw and a really good dipping sauce.“
“Excellent atmosphere, excellent food and the most special thing, apart from the fact that the food is delicious, the treatment of the people who work here is so great that I felt like I was in the land where I grew up in my beautiful El Salvador. Now do I recommend it? 100% bon appetitParking: You won't have any problems with finding a good parking spot“
