Food okay, servings much too large. We should have split an entree. Appetizer was good. Cocktail was good. Dessert very disappointing. Thought this might be our new favorite go to spot but now we don't even think we will go back.

Great server and attentive service. Food was good, not great. I had meatloaf, overcooked, dry, hard and included an end piece. Our son had redfish, he thought it was superb. He was told it was a whole fish but definitely a filet. My wife had pecan crusted chicken and was very good. Mixed results. Very good bourbon selection even has 12 yo Pappy for $75. Cheaper than a bottle in the $thousands.

Tldr: bad food, worse service, and even worse roaches.I regret to say that our experience at Wildwood was far from satisfactory. My chicken fried steak was disappointingly overbreaded, and to add insult to injury, the green beans were undercooked. The saving grace was the mashed potatoes, which were decent. Unfortunately, my husband's hanger steak, while flavorful, suffered from being improperly rested before slicing, resulting in a disappointing leakage of juices. The service was abysmal, and the ultimate low point was spotting roaches during our meal. Overall, it was a regrettable dining experience marred by subpar food, poor service, and unsanitary conditions.

11/28/23: This was our first visit. We went on A Tuesday evening for dinner. Alma was our hostess, and she did a great job. My wife had a Grapefruit Martini, and I had a Smoked Old Fashioned. The Alma prepared the Smoked Old Fashioned at our table, which was a really nice experience. We had the Fired Cheese Blocks as an appetizer. She had the Hanger "Butcher's Cut" with a loaded baked potato and green beans, and I took advantage of the 2 for Tuesdays special. I had the Pecan Crusted Chicken and the Atlantic Salmon. Our food was very good, and the atmosphere was great. The restaurant was very clean, very nicely decorated, and parking was plentiful.Towards the end of our meal, I saw John, who was bartending, and I had met him before at a different restaurant.

Took our adult kids and a grandson to Wildwood last night, and it was a delight. Excellent food, good ambience, not too loud to talk. Betty, our server, sparkled! Knowledgeable about the menu, made excellent suggestions, and was fun and pleasant throughout. MJ the manager came by and added to the evening. Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Well-managed gluten-friendly menu and staff.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly for kids, baby had a good time too :)

This is our favorite restaurant in the Cityline area. Great food and excellent service. Our favorite dish in the mac and cheese with hanger steak. We try to go here at least once a month.

If you want to dine where the food, service, and ambiance are GREAT, Wildwood is the place to go. The drinks are amazing, and the food ALWAYS comes out fresh and hot, not lukewarm like most places, and is beautifully presented. Managers MJ and Eric are welcoming and make sure you have a great experience every time you visit. I'm not associated with Wildwood or any of its employees in any way, and I rarely post reviews, but this place is deserving of being recognized.

We went there once before because we had a nice time there and was pleasantly surprised the food was great in taste and texture. This is our 2nd try and the salmon with rice has always been delicious. I had the hanger steak and did not disappoint. This 2nd round I had the meatloaf and it was a bit dry and the green beans was a tad salty; the mashed potatoes has always been great. Hopefully the restaurant will do a quality check in the future. I like the atmosphere and will be coming back to try other dishes on their menu.

I gave five stars because overall they earned it, but we ordered deserts to-go (bread pudding and banana pudding) and when we got home, the banana pudding was NOT banana pudding. It had rice and no bananas. We couldn't figure out what it was. That was disappointing, but everything else was great. Jeff, our server was excellent. We will certainly be back since we live in Sherril Park North, so we can ride or walk.

Wildwood is always a solid choice when it comes to delicious food and incredible service, all at a reasonable price! We had the steak and the shrimp/grits and chocolate cake for dessert. All so well prepared and delicious!

Went for valentine's day. thought it was more... fancier i guess? I should've read more reviews. kitchen was closing when we got there so we had to order fast. My wife got a steak ordered medium and came out rare. Didn't bother to send it back. I got the chicken fried steak and it was a huge portion which was alright. the breading was soggy so it pretty much fell right off the steak. Gravy was under seasoned. Overall it was just ok. Spent $74 so it's a little pricey. 6/10
