Hadn’t been there in over 15 years and was just as I remembered it. But it was a good thing. Great food. Good prices. Would go again a lot

Their website said handicap accessible, but we would have had to take a wheelchair all around the building to the front door, o. A dangerous drop off, so we didn't go. I would have e liked to have gone.

Stopped on a drive through Rio Grande city, the food and the service were exceptional. Love the old cafe atmosphere, makes me feel like I stepped into another era. Will definitely stop in again.

Mixed Feelings. While the food was good. The hospitality was not. After sitting right by the cashier for about 10 minutes I finally had the turn around and ask for a menu. The waitress that assisted me took my order politely enough but told me she would NOT be bringing me my “principio” because the soup was cold. However when another patron sat in the table next to me, he was quickly served and given his cup of soup. Will I return? Probably not. I do not appreciate waiting a whole 37 minutes for a simple dish during a 30 minute lunch. Oh well…Although I was eager to see what all the hype was about, I was quickly let down by the torn chairs, crooked tables and not so friendly staff. Hopefully the new establishments that are arriving to Rio can help steer the crowd towards better service overall.
