Awesome place off the main road of 174. Great food and portions means bring an appetite. Atmosphere is old country and plenty of things to check out. Food is always good and served hot. They have many great eats on the menu and some are not your typical find anywhere. Hamburgers are the best in the county.
I saw this place when searching for something different. It was worth the travel. Roughnecks is a hidden gem. The food was great, the service was great. But the atmosphere was completely unique in a fantastic way. All throughout our meal we were noticing some artwork, animal or little trinket hidden up on the wall or back in a corner. I have never had an issue with service, time of order, food, or atmosphere. Love this little home steak house!Kid-friendliness: They don't get upset with kids being kids! The waitress/bartender actually acts like a mom and told our party of kids, "When you sit down, I'll get your drinks!" Loved it
