Food, service, atmosphere - 10 out of freaking 10. I write a food column for my local paper, grabbed a last min reservation for Gabriela's as I swung into town for date night. We live on a ranch about 20 min out so this is our "destination dinner" for date night. Everything was so well thought out from the glassware, atmosphere, specials to the arrangement of the dishes. I don't think you can go wrong (unless you have an underdeveloped palette where true and intense flavor leave you overwhelmed) Love the choice of cab for wine by the glass. Loved the glass even more. Can't wait to come back!

Tapas were a great choice for a Rockport restaurant - casual and adjustible to your appetite. All of the tapas we ordered were superb, especially the corn ribs, ceviche, and tacos. Order the miguelitos for desert - not too sweet and really good. Ashlyn was a great server, never hovering but always around when needed. Nice, new surroundings with a view of Little Bay. The only suggestion would be to soften the hard walls with hanging tapisteies to reduce the noise.

What a great night out. After reading their mission statement on the website, about Gabriella’s being a space to come and hang out with your loved ones and friends to create memories, I was looking forward to seeing what that was all about and even more intrigued by the food pictures! Well they weren’t kidding… we sat and talked and talked and ordered and then ordered again! I was supposed to be on a diet but I soon got over that! Although if you would just get the seared tuna and watermelon salad - voila! You would have stuck to your diet! And it would have been plenty as each dish is shareable ! I got a bit grumpy as I’m not a sharer and wanted to order the same delicious dish again JUST for me, but when I realized the four of us were on a mission to taste almost the whole menu I did move on and enter into it wholeheartedly! I’m not going to list everything we had or try to give each item a review as we were very much in the moment and eating and visiting with our great friends. It was a very enjoyable experience. Would I return ? Hell yeah!

4 of us shared 6 tapas and 1 entree, along with 2 desserts. We ate at the bar, which was a most perfect experience...the bartender is the most professional in this area! Cocktails exceptional. A real giant step up for Rockport!.
(We only pick up food at Gabriela’s, but we do appreciate the decor).But more than anything, we appreciate the food! We love the tacos, the chili-infused shrimp, the corn ribs, and most of all, the papas bravas. Do not fail to order this dish! It far surpasses my family recipes (family of chefs and restaurateurs) and I could eat it every day. Delicious!

Wonderful new addition to Rockport's restaurant scene. Shareable portions are fairly large. Beautiful mix of Mexican and Spanish-influenced tapas. We've already been back twice and have sampled the tortilla chips with salsa/guacamole, crab crostini, spicy potatoes, seafood tacos, meatballs, croquettes, paella, catch of the day, and lamb feta samosas. The last 3 dishes were specials but should be part of the regular menu rotation. Everything was delicious. We each had our favorites but the samosas, croquettes and spicy potatoes ranked highest. Beautiful Ambiance and great service. Highly recommend this restaurant.
