Oh my goodness! We hired Mermaid's Kitchen to cater a shrimp and crab boil for 30+ people last weekend. It was absolutely delicious!! I am very picky about my seafood. This was so fresh, cooked PERFECTLY, and seasoned well. We had a lot of different spice preferences so she cooked it mild-to-medium spicy and then brought along more spice for folks to use to taste. She also brought house-made cocktail sauce and a special "everything" sauce that was delicious! We had potatoes with mushrooms and onions in one tray, corn and sausage with garlic in one tray, and then the shrimp and Dungeness crab in three trays. We also ordered the caramel bourbon bread pudding and key lime pie, which were both huge hits!! The food arrived on time, hot and just perfect. We had some left over so we served it cold the next day. It was still so so good!! It's a family run business and they are such sweet people. I also thought the price was very fair for what we got. I cannot recommend highly enough!

We contacted Mermaid's Kitchen to cater a shrimp and crab boil for a family reunion yesterday. Oh. My. Gosh. It was really good. To accommodate all tastes, the boil was mildly spiced and she included extra spice containers for those who wanted to add some. I wish I would have taken a picture but we were so excited about digging in, that I forgot. The food was delivered hot in trays. Shrimp and Dungeness crab in 3 trays, potatoes with onions and mushrooms in 1tray and corn and sausage together in 1 1/2 trays. Lots of "everything" sauce, cocktail sauce and garlic butter. We also ordered caramel bourbon bread pudding and key lime pie. OMG. So so good. Cannot recommend highly enough. Food was fresh, hot, delivered on time and the sweet family is so cute and nice. I would definitely try other meals from them as well as the shrimp boil next time. Just superb!!!!

Avoid this business if at all possible. It is unclean. The owner is unreliable and does not operate in good faith. She does not respect transactional agreements and is rude when confronted with the truth. I give one star because otherwise I couldn’t write this review.

This was a stellar meal. The turkey was perfect with wonderful seasoning and lots of meat (anticipating a turkey sandwich later). The cornbread stuffing was dense and moist. Cranberry sauce was very good and the hint a jalapeño was a nice surprise. Green bean casserole was just like I had growing up, very good. The sweet potato casserole was a real standout with a wonderful flavor of maple. It was evident that a lot of hard work and a real love of cooking went into our meal. Thank you!

Great food. But call before you tried to go. They're open sign is on but the lady told us the inside dinning is closed cuz they can't get help.
We hired Mermaid for our small wedding, they showed up almost an hour late. The food was cold and she claimed she did not agree to provide iced tea. Look elsewhere if you want a real professional caterer.

The brunch was superb! We all found something we enjoyed from gf waffles, french toast, eggs benedict & various omletes options. Our waitress was extremely attentive to our needs & dietary choices. We can't wait to go back!
