“We did not realize that the Comfort Cafe is a non profit when we decided to give it a try. The food was amazing and the portions are very generous. Everything is donation based so you pay what you can. Not only did we enjoy our food but we also were happy to support a local nonprofit. We will definitely be making another trip to Smithville to eat at Comfort Cafe!”

“Smithville Brewing is a fantastic addition to the Smithville area. Amazing beer, great atmosphere, great service, nothing better! Spacious interior seating and beer garden in the back! The beer garden is packed with yard games and comfy chairs for patrons to enjoy like Disc Golf and corn hole. Great food to go with everything as well, the nachos are fantastic, great burgers, great pizza, and don’t forget the massive Bavarian pretzel with out of this world beer cheese and mustard dipping sauces.This has quickly become a new favorite in our family for a great night out for beers and food!”

“The chopped beef was delicious. The sausage was one of my favorite of any bbq place. Their sauce is very good. The Cole slaw is fresh. Highly recommend a drive to eat here. Very nice and roomy patio to eat and visit.”

“The food is your basic Tequeria fare. Tacos,tortas,and things like this. The aquas refresca are very good; and if you've never drank one; give it a whirl. This has become my new taco spot. Good ”

“Wow, What a beautiful surprise. The food is wonderful and the service is amazing. We had fried chicken and gizzards. A couple different sides all of them are wonderful cobbler and banana pudding was fantastic some of the best. Can't wait to go back and try the fried fish and shrimp. Everything's not fried so go give them a try. Very family friendly people.The place is small and cozy. Nice outside patio.”

“The atmosphere is so cool! The music was fantastic! We had spicy edamame for appetizer and it was DELICIOUS!! We had the Portabella Pizza and so good! The ranch dressing on my salad was delicious!! You absolutely have to try the homemade mozzarella sticks. Delicious!”

“The ladies were very nice and give you time to order.We just ordered to sausage egg breakfast tacos. They were ok but very bland in taste there were not much breakfast sausage, we went early in the morning perhaps just getting things ready i hope. I heard a lot of good things about the food I was very disappointed, like I said ladies were very nice. P.S. No fountain drinks or ice...”

“Awesome little watering hole. Patrons and bartenders very friendly. Ice cold beer, free pool, internet jukebox. A lot of history. Highly recommend an ice cold beer at Huebel's.”

“Such a cozy and inviting place to grab a coffee. I only had a cinnamon roll so I don't think it's fair to rate the food. The morning barista was friendly and efficient. It's so nice to get a real latte made with a real espresso machine! I went back in the afternoon for a cup of chai hot tea and the person working there at that time was also super friendly and welcoming. Will be back!”

“Good Food, Great portions, clean dinning and kitchen areas condiments, in sealed units. Vegetables in cute old car trunk display. Reasonable prices. But note, They close at 3pm. They do not make any more tea from 2pm if the tea runs out! Only draw back!”

“Ate lunch there yesterday (3/6/24) with my coworker and both of us really were impressed with the tacos. I had one fajitas taco and one brisket taco and both of them were excellent. Also their chips and salsa are excellent. Nice place, great food, nice atmosphere, and great service.Parking: Front of building.”

“The pizza is made in a brick pizza oven soo old school. Love the pizza. The cheesecake is ok. Not much of a verity. They have a full bar. Witch every pizza place should.Parking: I've only parked in front. I'm not shore about any other parking.”

“Everytime ive been to this Dairy Queen theres been excellent everything. Super great people working there. Restaurant work is hard work. I did it when i was very young. It was clean, the food was great. And like every place I've visited since moving here, to Smithville, everyone is so kind & friendly. Im so glad i moved here.I do wish more places delivered. But all in all, its a very nice place to live.”
