Menudo anyone?? I have found the place where they make really good, authentic menudo. Only thing missing is more hominy. But that is easy to add. The red chili soup is perfection, incredibly tasty but not too spicy for the locals. Honestly, everything coming out of this kitchen is mAvelous... try their enchiladas banderas and then tell me about it!!
I was born in Mexico and grew up eating my grandmother’s food. I have tried many places in the city and it’s surroundings that claim to be authentic Mexican food and have always been disappointed. El taquito has become a personal favorite with its authentic flavors. I moved out of town a year ago and I still drive all the way to the Round Rock location to get their mini tacos, pozole or menudo. WOW I need to leave a separate review for their margaritas. Just saying it put me out. And the friends I came here with!! Took a long nap when I got home that day. I'm definitely making this my go to margaritas spot. Worth the drive if you're a little far from El Taquito!
