“Nice little cozy Mexican and Italian fusion place we recently discovered in the Round rock area . Ambiance was very pretty with a Mexican theme going on . The food had two sections - one Italian based and the other was Mexican based . We ordered one on each side - pollo ala chipotle and pollo con pasta (marinara based). The Mexican chipotle chicken was exceptional with tender cooked chicken and salsa was amazing and one of the most authentic ones we have tasted in Texas! The pollo con pasta was a bit disappointing because the chicken had a raw smell and pasta okay . Would not order that dish again and can try the white sauce based dishes next time . They had both wine and cocktails which worked for our pairing of dishes . One of the strongest margaritas we have tasted ! Our waitress was acting a bit non responsive initially but later was communicative . Would return here for the Mexican dishes, ambiance and cocktails !“
“My wife and I have wanted to visit and finally just did and damn glad we did. Sat on a nice patio with breeze and nice sky and sunset views around a massive oak tree. Reuben, the manager took care of us extremely well. We chose a couple different glasses that he gave great views on and was right on the money. The white truffle popcorn with butter, Parm and parsley was great but Danielle's pizza was awesome. Chatted with Ruben once done and he made us want to become regulars here. Met owners Danielle and Jeff, and complimented both on the food. Looking forward to our next visit for the Good Stock dinner with wines event. This place is a local gem and so glad we finally "discovered" it!!!!“
“My worst experience in Austin. My first time back to Austin in many years. While shopping, I decided to stop, watch the game a grab a beer. Customer service from the female Co-owner was great until that w***** of guy arrived (the other Co-owner). If your going to be jealous because your wife is being nice to your customers, you're in the wrong business. He said something to her and her demeanor changed. He then told me there was a 4 beer limit and couldn't serve me anymore. W“
“I had the chicken salad, and my sister had the BLT. Both were amazing! I love that they have so many gluten-free options. I was there with several friends, and everyone LOVED their meals! Also, the sweet young man serving us was amazing. He put up well with some silly old ladies, even though we teased him so badly. He took it well and did a great job! The place is adorable, too. I loved how cozy it was. We sat upstairs, and it felt like we had our own room. I will definitely go back.“
“Stumbled upon it after my hike, nice patio. Dog friendly which was a big plus. I got the chicken gyro and the falafel. Both amazing, great flavor! Definitely recommend and will be coming back! Also thank you for the dessert the owner brought out for us!“
“Great atmosphere and wine. All Texas wines, with some great vineyards I haven’t seen before. Friendly, bright, with lots of wood tones giving a relaxing vibe. Lots of non-alcoholic options when needed. FYI no food, but you can bring your own and multiple good restaurants and bakeries next door.“
“AKB hotel bar inside The Archer Hotel.Friendly, attentive and prompt staff and service.Lovely views, welcoming atmosphere and cozy Texas ambiance, restaurant is kid friendly and conveniently located inside The Archer on the North side of The Domain area.Brick oven pizza while very cheesy was just okay. “Pick up day for Wine club! Great atmosphere with good friends!Although it was a great experience, I thought our waitress seemed too busy to take the time to explain about the wine we sampled. We had to wait a bit longer then would have liked to get our next round.I was told that because I was a wine member I wouldn’t receive the 50% off a glass for my review?? She was a bit hasty with her remarks throughout the evening.I will be back hopefully next time we can have some different to wait in us. ?“
“On a calm evening, with the cafe lights setting the mood, spanish guitar melodizing in the background, and a smooth Italian red…there’s not a better place to take my wife out for date night. When the lawn is open and they have live music playing, it’s one of the most relaxing places to enjoy a night just off the Square. You gotta try this place out!“
“A Delightful Dining Experience at Salt Trader Coastal CookingIf you're a seafood lover, Salt Trader Coastal Cooking is a must-visit destination! My recent visit was nothing short of delightful, thanks in large part to a trio of standout dishes. First off, the Caesar salad was a fresh and flavorful start to the meal, perfectly dressed and garnished, setting a high standard for what was to come. The fish and chips were next, and they truly exceeded expectations. The fish was fried to a golden, crispy perfection, yet inside, it remained incredibly flaky and moist. Paired with crispy, seasoned fries and a tangy tartar sauce, this dish was a comforting nod to classic British fare with a distinctly upscale twist. However, the real showstopper of the evening was the shrimp and lobster spaghetti. This dish was a luxurious fusion of tender shrimp and succulent lobster, tossed with al dente spaghetti in a rich, savory sauce that was both aromatic and deeply satisfying. Every bite was a celebration of fine coastal cuisine.Beyond the food, the ambiance of Salt Trader Coastal is warm and inviting, with a staff that’s eager to enhance your dining experience with their attentive service. Whether you're there for a casual meal or a special occasion, Salt Trader Coastal Cooking impresses on all levels. Highly recommended for anyone craving top-notch seafood with a gourmet flair!“
