You're not going to a five star chef inspired Caribbean on a remote island restaurant, you're going to a place that serves fried tacos, has huge bowls, and a big clucks. However, the food is served hot and through all hours of the night. What more could you want? I recommend placing a mobile order as the wait can sometimes be an issue.“

“Never knew Torchy's Tacos on Garland Road was so large and inviting. The bar area is a great place to meet neighbors and make new friends. I went last night to see a gal pal and we ended up laughing our way through the evening with a fun group of customers. SHOUT OUT to the bartender Rita "As in Margarita" she told us - easy to remember. She's been there 8 years, starting with four in the kitchen and then moving out to behind the cool bar. She was very efficient, chatted up the customers a little, kept the bar area clean and did it all with a friendliness that was pretty amazing since she's pregnant! THIS woman deserves to be moved into management: organized; hard working; smart. What are you waiting for Torchy's???? Give Rita a raise and a promotion!!! Lived over here for over 2 decades and never made it across the street (from Chili's) but I certainly will be BAAACK! Thanks Rita for a fun evening at Torchy's!“

“Friday for lunch 11:15am for the first time here. Fast friendly service ordering. Tres dip was great. We loved the fresh guacamole, queso, and warm red salsa. I order two steak and one chicken taco. Great flavors! The Jamaican drink was refreshing. It was cool to see fresh produce in the cooler. Solid tacos by people that care. Good job!“

“This was a great little spot. We looked for a good, authentic, taco place and it met all our expectations! Randell was our server and he spoke great english and explained each dish very clearly. “This was our first visit to Torchy’s and it was the BEST!!! The young man at the register last night (can’t remember his name was so helpful and friendly). He was so patient with me and my husband as we navigated the huge menu of foods not knowing what we wanted, so he so graciously offered us some good food choices.We dined in and the atmosphere was so cool and welcoming. I struck up a conversation with this sweet lady Miss Maria who was so kind and I told her this was my first visit to Torchy’s so she told me to give her a minute she would be right back.She went and got the manager and he came out and spoke with me and my husband about how our visit was going, the history of Torchy’s, and just chatted a bit about the food. I can’t remember the managers name, I think it was Danny (not sure) because we were talking about so many things. He was a very courteous, down to earth, and professional guy.We were then served our Grande Burritos and let me tell you… they were amazing!!I had the barbacoa burrito , my husband had the brisket burrito, and my grandson had the steak burrito. Also, the sweet tea was soooo good! They were all delicious!! I also noticed the bar there, which when we return I will have one of those margaritas. We had a Damn Good meal!!!“

“Was out doing some errands and decided to try something local and off the beaten path. Glad we did too. The pictures don't do justice but the food was delicious! The place is small but cozy and the staff are friendly, the service was great, and the food is something we'll be back for. Oh, and GREAT beers on tap.“

“So glad to have found my old night crew who used to work at the now closed location in the Chevron on Garland Rd. They truly make the Best Trumpo tacos. Definitely check them out. 10 ? for $17.98 served with all the fixings of limes, radish, onion, cilantro, fried peppers, onions and pineapple and their red and green sauces. So good.“

“It's in the Valero. It does not look good but the food is excellent. The staff is nice and helpful. Be clear with your order. They expect every taco to have eggs, cheese, and meat. I ordered a bean and cheese tacos and the wanted to add eggs. No problem, just be clear. You can get any taco on corn or flour. The fajita taco can have cilantro and chopped onion or even grilled onion and pepper. The pork carnitas and fajitas are both good. Cooked well and chopped small. The menu is posted but I just ordered what I wanted. There are two sizes of tortillas, I only ever ordered the small. Two small tacos were enough.The surroundings look questionable but the food and staff are excellent. If you are staying in the RV park across the way, come here for breakfast.“

“Food was good overall. Quality and prepared fresh. The plates were styrofoam which was a huge turn off. Number one you can't really cut into those and it's not like they don't have actual hard plates to serve food on cause they had half our order on them. Just odd. For $35 I would appreciate a real plate I don't cut INTO. Still the food was decent (I got pupusas) but not the best I've had (Vickie's was closed that day). My husband loved the burrito but they were out of lengua and tripas. Kind of a let down. Service was very good. The young lady and her mom run the show and they are very sweet. 5 stars for service. Ambiance isn't much to write home about. It's a hole in the wall vibe but I could care less if food and service are good. The downside to the place is the shared bathroom space with a gas station and chicken shack. No toilet paper, no soap, no paper towels and not the best kept. What the heck???? Next time I have to come here it'll be for take out honestly. I still give it 4 stars cause food and service is stellar when you take into account I wasn't the only one rating the food“

“OMG, the Birria Tacos are slamming delicious!!! Per other reviews, it is located inside a building with other food vendors. When you walk in the front doors, Lujanos is the second food vendor on the right. The staff was super nice, and their areas were clean and tidy. I only have 4 stars on the atmosphere because it's not like a restaurant setting. There are only about 5 seats available in front of their section as well. There is outside seating at 2 tables as long as you don't mind melting in the Texas heat?. I chose to get my order to-go.Overall, if you are looking for authentic street tacos, then Lujanos is for you! Go check em out, you won't be disappointed!“

“Really tasty authentic tacos! I got the taco plate which is great as it comes with 3 tacos, beans, rice, grilled onions, radish, and limes! I got 1 barbacoa and 2 trompo tacos- what really brought the flavor was the red&green sauce they provide on the table. Keep in mind the red sauce is more spicy, the green sauce is more of a refreshing creamy little spice sauce. Atmosphere was cute with the pops of color and more industrial feel. Service was helpful & fast.“

“Not at all busy when we went after church last Sunday. Service was polite and prompt and they turned down the music for us when we asked so we could hear each other talk. I had the Philly cheesesteak. It was very good but I will admit I have had another bigger great one for the same price. Steak fries are very good as are their burgers which I have also had.“

“New Asian fusion, fast casual dining in Wylie! We loved the menu items here as walk away feeling light but fed. We ordered bit of everything. For apps we had the edamame, nachos, crispy brussels, and crunchy chicken. Everything was flavored with such vibrant sauces! The chicken was delicious and the brussels were my favorite. Mains: we ordered tons of tacos to try. Korean beef was my absolute favorite!! Filled with carrots and veggies and topped with a delicious sweet sauce. I'd eat that every time! Bowls: I ordered the budda bowl since I wanted something with noodles. It's savory and filling but was a bit too smoky for me. I'd definitely try it again though. My husband took a "thai guy" bowl to go so he could try it tomorrow. Will report back on that. Bubble tea: they have a crazy selection of bubble teas to choose from! Milky, fruity, caffeinated, sweet, you name it! My favorite was the salted caramel with oat milk. Delicious! Check out this cool concept in the burbs! I'll be grabbing lunch here again soon.“

“My food took too long. They made the enchiladas with some very thick and poorly sewn tortillas, I think they had some leftover sopes or something like that. In general the seasoning is a little better than elsewhere. There are few tables and only one bathroom“

You can mix and match salsa’s your your liking so it’s not too spicy and just right. The price is even better, you definitely get more than you pay for!!!“

“This place is hard to find. Not only is there no sign of their logo anywhere visible in front of the cashier booth, but there's no sign outside of the shady gas station it shares. I almost didn't order, since the interior was quite abysmal, but was clean. It's a huge turn off to see the prepared meat sitting in trays, but I was already committed to trying this place, considering the reviews were so good . The lady at the register was super nice, and was bilingual. I was able to practice my order in Spanish, and she responded back in English. I saw a sign apologizing for their increase in prices. I was kind of shocked, because the tacos are already under $2 a piece. This place is quite a bargain compared to other places around Dallas.I ended up getting three tacos, all on corn. Not only did they give you cilantro and onion, what they give you half a grilled jalapeno and grilled onions as well. Every meat I had was delicious! The only real complaint I can give is that there's no charred exterior, since it was all sitting in a steamer pan. But the lack of charred texture is made up by the moist, flavorful meat. The machete and pastor were both fantastic, but the mole de puerco really stood out to me. The mole one had tons of flavor, and it seems like they make the mole in house. The corn tortillas themselves were soft, but sturdy. The salsa verde and rojo are both fine additions, although I will say the pastor and mole de puerco overpowered any sauce I put on top of it. Overall an affordable and delicious meal.“

“if i could give it 10 stars, i would!! words can not even begin to describe the savory taste of their dishes. taqueria la chona has always been good, but with the new management, they are even better. food is so delicious, it could be described as the best mexican food in the whole DFW. the staff is super nice as well. this is my go-to place especially with all the useful surrounding places like a bread store and a pharmacy.Kid-friendliness: have all the basic kids foods!! great fries!!“

“This was a really clean and open restaurant. Customer service was excellent from walking in the door to leaving. The food was freshly done and very delicious. The only down fall of this menu is how expensive the sodas are. They charge over $4.00 for a bottled soda and I feel that is a rip off. Stick with the Aguas de horchata or the other ones they offer.“
