“For starters, the customer service is great, but the food is even BETTER!!! With all the authentic flavors you'd expect from Puerto Rican Cuisine, it's easily the best spot in the city. The arroz con gandules is to die for, the ensalada de papa is everything you'd want, and the meat was seasoned and smoked to perfection. If I could give it 10 stars, I really would. I highly recommend.”

“We had been reading Matt's cookbook, so we went to visit the restaurant in the Dallas area. It was so good! We started with the Bob Anderson cheese dip appetizer. That was really good! We had enough to use on our dinner, too. I had the beef chile relleno dish. There wasn't too much chile to be overwhelming. I had the con queso topping. The beef was ground beef that was charred perfectly. The servings were great, lots of leftovers. The magic black sauce on my husband's plate was really good. The chicken was tender. My brother-in-law gave a thumbs up to the tamale dinner. He said he'd order it again! All around, great time. Service was fast and polite, and multiple people asked us if we needed anything. Must go if you're in the area!”

“Great hamburger . Great service. I will definitely be back. I prefer this over B&F just down the road. Don't get me wrong B&F is good, more family friendly as Sweetwater is a bar. So if you have the kids and grandma with you , B&F is the ticket. If you want great food at a traditional bar then Sweetwater is the place. nice to have options so close.”
