“One of the better Waffle House locations. Friendly staff with good service and good food. I've visited Waffle House in a few states now and this one is a star above the rest. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to anyone traveling especially if you haven't tried it yet. It's the old school home style food you crave.“
“Absolutely wonderful service, food, competitive prices, and the best menu selection and healthy servings. They were appropriately staffed and were well organized. Everything is so perfectly timed, beginning with the hostess to drinks, orders, food to table, and check. I never felt rushed or forgotten. It was a great dining experience, and I will definitely go back.“
“My wife and I were in town on some quick business. We were recommended to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Sunday brunch seems to be a very busy time, so we were very pleased to get a seat very quickly. Our server, I'm sorry her name slips my mind, was outstanding. As a guy who really enjoys food, I was very pleased. Everything was brought to our table in under 10 minutes and was absolutely delicious. I didn't see any of the staff that were not moving in a hurry to take care of their customers. I was pleasantly surprised by the pricing vs the quantity and quality of the food. Ballard Street Cafe will remain on our list of places to stop and eat when we're in town.“
“Hot Pancakes is great! This is my first time. They've got a wonderful build-your-own menu for people who are eating, for instance, keto. And the regular menu is great, too! I had the chicken biscuit plate. It's an open face giant biscuit half, topped with a fried chicken filet, cheese and gravy. Comes with a side of hash browns, and, of course, two big fluffy pancakes. Coffee was good and plentiful. We were a group of five. We received excellent service with a dose of snark. I will definitely come back!Dietary restrictions: There's a build your own breakfast menu that can accommodate dietary restrictionsParking: Hot Pancakes is in a strip mall. Plenty of free parking.“
“Quickly becoming my go to breakfast place. The omelettes are fabulous. I love the option that can accompany most entrées; choice of the biscuit and gravy, biscuit, toast, pancake, and the list goes on. The cheddar bacon avocado omelette is amazing super fluffy. They are not shy or skimpy on that feeling the owner is super nice and really cares about his customers. Sweet tea is actually good for one at a breakfast place . Home fires that taste home made for once which isn’t what most BP can claim . Seriously, try it out . They serve all day breakfast. They also have a luncheon dinner menu“
“Wow! What a pleasant surprise.Nice and clean, great food. I am a coffee lover and this is now in the top of my choices.Being persistent doesn’t necessarily mean good service..A smile in your face, a good attitude and being always attentive made me have an unexpected but very satisfying breakfast experience.Thank you Veronica.100% recommended.“
“First time customers and we were not disappointed! Our grandson has been talking about this restaurant for years and he finally took us for lunch. My Chicken Fried steak was DELICIOSO!! My husband and grandson had Omelettes and pancakes those were YUMMMM!!We will definitely be returning customers and will invite others to visit Eggsquisite?Thank you Zane for being a good server!!“
“I wish they had more options for vegetarians than just egg and pancakes. They sadly got rid of the vegetarian burger patty. With that said, the omelets and pancake options are fantastic! My favorite is the mushroom & cheddar omelet sub the Swedish pancakes (the $4+ upcharge is a bit steep though). I make 3-4 meals out of this 1 order!!“
“I had a hard time finding the shop at first, then realized it was on the corner of the strip on the left side, so if you go look far left! Other than that, the place was clean, the donuts were great and the pigs in a blanket were sooooooo good! I will fo sho come back :)“
“We love Poor Richard's Cafe. My husband has eaten here several times, so this time. I decided to go because he bragged on it so much!!! And so when we got there, and it was awesome !!!! We had a great host who seated us, a beautiful and friendly waitress who gave us awesome service and was very attentive. We received the most delicious food within about 10-15 minutes. Everything was beautifully eye desirable ?The place is beautifully decorated with American style decor and a place where veterans can feel right at home. My husband is a vet, so it felt very special to us.On our way out, to pay, we meet another friendly and kind cashier!!!!Thank you, Poor Richard, for a great meal and a comfortable place to feel at home!!!!Mardianne and Barry“
“Looking for great food at a great price, a quiet casual dining room and great service, stop right here. Lunch service is always consistently great for me. The prices beat all others hands down. Fresh ingredients and so tasty. Chicken fried chicken, pork chops, chicken fried steak and steak tenderloin specials are all phenomenal and under $10 and it's amazing. Lots of great sides to choose from. House salad is romaine, worthwhile. Cinnamon apples and breads are housemade. Plenty of room for large parties.Parking: Need more handicap designated spots. 1 is not enough.“
“We really liked this place, staff were friendly, food was great, large portions and tasty. The restaurant is open and inviting inside with nice farmhouse decor. It was clean and roomy. My husband had the BBQ chicken sandwich as pictured, the chicken was so big it hung out either side of the bun. He loved it. Give them a try!Vegetarian options: I had avocado toast, pretty sure there were quite a few options.“
“Really enjoyed the fast friendly service we received and there was a wide variety of menu items to choose from and they have senior and children's options on the menu too. The prices are very reasonable and they offer mimosas now too. There is handicap parking and seating available and highchairs for the little ones.“
“Just had breakfast and the food was really good. Myriam, the GM stopped by our table to check on the food and service. She is very hands on and made the experience a great one. Our waiter and the hostess were also very friendly and accommodating.Parking: Plenty of parking“
“This place is good and the service is fantastic.I got a skillet fish and a juiced drink. What I like about the food is it’s not overly greasy and gross. My best friend suggest this place and I will be returning. Also their menu is HUGE! So plenty of options.“
“When we stepped in around 10:15 AM, the Waffle House was alive with the vibrant buzz that you'd expect from such a popular spot. It had that classic easygoing atmosphere, with folks either savoring their meals or patiently waiting for their turn. The comforting hum of activity added to the familiar charm of a Waffle House visit.A little wait of around 20 to 25 minutes was a small price to pay for what followed. The staff were not only efficient but genuinely friendly, making the wait feel inconsequential. Bilha, our waitress, stood out with her genuine warmth and cheerful demeanor, adding a delightful touch to our dining experience. Now, let's talk about the star of the show--the food. My wife and I both opted for the T-bone, well-done to our liking. I paired mine with sunny side up eggs, while my wife went for scrambled eggs. The hash browns were a standout, perfectly cooked and oh-so-delicious. And to top it all off, my dark bottomless coffee was just the kind of rich and robust pick-me-up I needed.Despite the brief wait, which was understandable given the lively atmosphere and popularity of the place, this visit unquestionably secures a prominent spot in my list of remarkable Waffle House adventures. The overall experience was delightful, reaffirming why Waffle House continues to be a favorite choice for a hearty and satisfying meal.“
“Great place! The food was great: good quality and flavorful. Many options for breakfast and lunch. Pancakes are big. My husband and I shared the blueberry pancake and it was delicious ? I plan to visit again and try a new item. They have a few seats for outside sitting but I enjoy sitting inside. Unfortunately no breakfast bar though, but no biggie. Come check it out and have your own experience.“
“I had the Scrambler Scrambler with hashbrown, french toast and coffee. It was sooooo good. The entree was lightly seasoned which is how I want it prepared (not salty). It was not greasy. The scrambled eggs were fluffy. The hashbrown was crispy. The french toast was lightly sweet. Amazing ambience. The staff was very attentive. The dining area and bathroom was clean. Most of all it's affordable.“
“This place is amazing. I stopped there to pick up a few things for out of town company and the lady waiting on me was so sweet. I picked out a few items, sweet and savory. She even through in a few extra items (like small cinnamon rolls). Needless to say, everything was so delicious. Not your run of the mill donut shop. We will totally be visiting this place again!“
“Came early in the morning and was seated quickly. The customer service was outstanding. I was recommended the super chilaquiles with pork. It took a minute to get my food, but hey if you want fresh food served it comes with some wait time. The plate was presentable and smelled delicious. It was delicious the perfect spiciness if you get the red ones. The only thing I didn't like was the amount of pork I got, but maybe that's just me. Other then that highly recommended. Prices are decent also.Kid-friendliness: A la Carte menu available“
“Everything I ordered and with different friends twice this month was really done well and tasty. First visit, partner and friend order the wraps and they were big enough for two meals! I got the bowl and added grits and the one additional choice. Service was very good, decaf coffee was delicious also. Second trip friend order pancakes and meat bowl. She loved it. I ordered an omelet and it was nice and fluffy, with two extra sides; grits and mixed fruit. Decaf, again not bitter, but smooth. Service again, friendly and well done.Dietary restrictions: They don't have gluten free bread or pancakes, but I substituted grits, and they were done well. I even drizzled a bit of syrup onto them with my coffee cream.“
“My husband and I’s new favorite brunch spot!! We ordered the breakfast burrito, grilled ham and cheese, and as “dessert” we ordered their stuffed French Toast which was our favorite. The filling on it is not too overpowering and came with just enough. Definitely worth trying !!“
