Found this place by accident when I took a side by accident. Wife and tried the blackened tilapia and grilled turkey and cheese sandwich. Both were very good and the waitress was very friendly. Definitely will go again when passing through Salado.
We stopped in and enjoyed an excellent lunch. Hubby had the veggie burger (Cathy told him the ingredients they use to make their veggie burgers). Who does that? Cathy does because it's made right there in the cafe. I had the salmon burger (a special of the day) and it was the best one I've ever had; moist and flavorful. Pleasant little cafe in Salado, we waited a few minutes before we were provided menus, but we had our choice of breakfast or lunch. Food was decent, biscuit was fluffy. I had eggs with red potatoes, onions, peppers and sausage.
