“We ordered Alice Springs Chicken, my favorite, and two house salads for my husband and me. Best salad around!! We ordered them to-go curbside since we were out running errands. It was ready a bit early, and our server was very nice and accommodating. We did not receive the dipping sauce for the chicken which was a bit disappointing, but it was delicious!!!”

“I have traveled to San Angelo several times now for work and had the opportunity to try The Grill this evening with my youngest son. We are from the Dallas area and have had some amazing meals but our meal tonight was by far the best we have ever had. We both had the filet offered on Fridays. We both had some spaghetti squash that was so amazing I was asking how to make it at home. Every single thing we ordered was cooked better than perfection. We were blown away by everything down to the amazing desserts made from scratch there. I was already looking at my schedule to see when the next time I could come back and enjoy it all again. I would highly recommend this restaurant if passing through or visiting San Angelo. I know I will be dreaming of the food tonight. Our waiter Brad was kind enough to answer my many questions about the owner as well as information about other restaurants he owns in Dallas I haven’t tried yet. You will not be disappointed in the food at The Grill in San Angelo. I’m off to my food coma now.”

“My husband and I finally got to eat at BARNWOOD GRILL! Mmmm. We both ordered the Sunday special of Turkey and Dressing. The mashed potatoes and green beans and gravy and roll were sooo good. The turkey melted in my mouth. And the cranberry sauce was the perfect size. Of course, the way you know if the food is good is when you taste the tea. It was perfect. And, for us, the portions were large enough we have dinner and supper! Highly recommend. The service is spectacular.”

The good people at Los Gallos were happy to help me select a nice variety of Mexican holiday pastries and treats. The price for the number of items I picked out was more than fair - and the baked goods were the hit of the dinner! I highly recommend Los Gallos Bakery as THE place to go for fresh, delicious baked goods!”

We had the beef (3) enchiladas meals, with tortilla sides as well as tea, and sprite to drink. We left feeling quite porkulous with smiles on our faces for sure. “I contemplated writing this review because I am a repeat drive thru customer and for the most part I've had decent service... however I went in today for an experience and got one, but not in a good way. I saw pictures on your site of coffee art and went in for a cortada hot drink as I've never had this. I also asked for recommendations on FB and was told this was the place. I asked the cashier if this drink can be made(she was very friendly) and also said I DID NOT want a styrofoam cup. She stated she could not do the art but asked the barista if she could. She came back and said ok and even went over the cup it would come in since we would be drinking our drinks there. She recommend a latte with art instead of a Cortada which I agreed on. The person I went with got her drink pretty quick. It then got pretty busy and my drink was called about 15 min later but I didn't see it there. All I saw were to go drinks. The barista then handed me a styrofoam cup. I told her it was supposed to be to drink to have there with coffee art. She looked at me, grabbed a coffee cup, and poured the to go drink into the cup and said "I can't make it now because I already made it" so I said.. that's the reason I came, was for this specific drink. She then said something like "Just so you know, not everyone is capable of doing coffee art". My question.. Why was I just not told no in the first place so we could have went elsewhere. I didn't even get a sorry, nothing. If she had said, hey I'm sorry, I couldn't do the art, or I messed up on your drink and made it to go I woulda said ok, it's cool but naw, bad customer service. Even the lady behind me gave me a wow look.”

The classic rooster strips are very flavorful and softer breading. Crispy is more like chicken express. Tea was very good any son said his lemonade was good. Sides were a generous portion. Only suggestion I would make is I wish there was a slight more variety to the meal deals. They have a 2,3, and 6 pieces deal. Would love to see maybe 4 piece and maybe a combo option that includes the drink with the meals. On most combos it is separate. It did cost a bit more than other places but it is a San Angelo original mom and pop kind of place and I think the price is worth it. Will definitely be visiting again.”

Just the food alone is amazing, but they are my go to for breakfast burritos, tamales, and just a great cup of coffee as well.
