“My friend and I had a wonderful experience here. I am upset that I didn't try this sooner. This is a family run business, and everything is made with a lot of love. You can taste it in the food. The portions are good and the price is more than fair. We enjoyed everything that we tried. Started off with the mint tea, dumplings, and eggplant spread. Finished with the kebab combo plate with saffron rice and lamb shank with saffron rice. Both entrees came with a refreshing salad with yummy yogurt dressing. The whole experience was very pleasant and I can't wait to return.“

“5+ stars for this truly authentic Afghan Food restaurant. The service is outstanding, the food is superb and delicious. Prices are great and the food food serving is humongous. You will not be able to find better Afghan food in San Antonio and even away from San Antonio. We ordered the Kabuli Rice that is served with a big lamb shank, we also had an order of bolani, which is made of bread like tortilla filled with potatoes. The bolani was so good and the flavor was amazing. My wife ordered the lamb chops with rice and the flavor of it was amazing. Complimentary we were served salad, two huge portions of naan bread, two different dipping sauces, and lentil soup. Give this place a try and I bet you will not be disappointed. If you haven’t had Afghan food before, you should check it out because you will fall in love with it.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options available and clearly labeled in menu.Parking: Great parking and many open spots in front of restaurant.“
