“Great find and a much needed break from the usual. There is a ton of parking. Atmosphere is modern but smart. There is about an equal divide between indoor and outdoor seating, along with a handful of bar seats. Wine menu has several wines rated 90+ points by Wine Spectator. The wine and cocktail menus is focused but more than adequate. Wifey and I are usually winos, but we opted for their speciality cocktails--delicious. Apps were fantastic: burrata, bread, and calamari. She had a seafood pasta dish and I ravioli with short rib meat. Service is excellent. The only negative is the noise level: it's just too damned loud. This can easily improve with sound absorption so that patrons can speak easily.”

First off, the salad bar was so good! Everything was fresh and delicious. Then we have the meat, every cut was so tender and well seasoned. Lastly, the sides and desserts were superb. We loved our experience at Chama Guacha and we will be back!”

“Started with the salmon with capers crepe. Soooooo delicious! For dessert had the Belgium crepe - chocolates, strawberries and bananas . Again, a huge win. I can't believe I ate both of them, but couldn't stop. A real gem. Loved this place and will be back.”

“This was our first time trying Revolutionary Wings and it was worth the trip. This being our first time, we tried a variety of menu items including the dill pickle wings, black garlic wings, hot Cheetos wings, chicken and Belgium wings and the mild and medium wings. The wings themselves were large and perfectly cooked. The flavors were all very good, the family enjoyed all of them and each of us had a different favorite. We also ordered a southern burger and the margarita flatbread. The flatbread was great, loaded with fresh tomatoes and cheese. Unfortunately the wings were so filling that we had to take the burger home to eat tomorrow - yes, the wings are that big and filling. I would highly recommend giving them a try the next time you are in the mood for some good and creative wings!”

“My wife and I spent a night in San Antonio celebrating our anniversary and came here for dinnee on the recommendation of a friend. Great little neighborhood tucked away between the Pearl district and River Walk and we walked on the River Walk to get here from our hotel. She started off with a miso fish broth that was the best miso soup we've ever had--really light on the fish flavor to the point it was there, but didn't overshadow the miso. The Arkami Carpaccio was next and was also one of the best things we've ever eaten. The waygu tartare was a little sweet (must have been some kind of light Japanese sauce stirred in to it before plating over sushi box rice, but anyone else would probably love it--I'm just not a sweets guy). my Snowcrab nigiri was also very good as well as my wife's sampling of various other fish. Ambiance and Atmosphere were both pleasant with anime playing on one TV and some pretty seating outside. Service was friendly and made us feel important somehow. It's a little pricey, but for an aniversary worth every penny. The matcha ipa was very good, too. 5 stars for sure!”

“I ordered takeout and was greeted immediately upon entry. My food was ready even though I showed up a little early. Everything tasted super good and my chicken katsu was still crispy after 25 minutes or so, which I thought was pretty impressive. The prices offered here are also very affordable compared to some of the other Asian places in town without sacrificing flavor. If you like Asian food this place as multiple options from different regions (Chinese, Japanese, Thai, etc). Highly recommend!!”

“Today this Restaurant needed help. Unbeknownst to the team they had call ins, two servers had to manage the Door Dash orders, and the customers in the store. I then Learned the manager, Tyler, had to help cook, When I asked about the drinks coming out later. It’s today the team worked hard to accommodate all customers making sure they had what they needed and provided the reasonable explanations on wait times. Our, waitress Jennifer did a good job getting our meals to us hot. The OG Cook, Andrew, who’s been there for over 20 years, made our Pancakes fluffy, our eggs thick and picked out the ripest sweetest strawberries for my Stuffed French Toast. Keep it up Store #2380 keeping real in South Side.”
“The line is usually long but seems to move at a steady pace. The food is very fresh. Good portion sizes. We got the family for 3 beef and chicken fajitas. It was enough food for 2 adults and 2 children. My daughter had the street tacos and they were good too. The chicken fajitas are not seasoned well. The avocado salsa is a must!”

“We arrived after 9pm (party of 4) and were greeted by Daniel who showed us to our table of our choice, gave us menus and took our drink orders. He returned quickly and very pleasantly took our orders and answered our questions. We noticed quite a few more customers arriving around the same time. Daniel brought most of our order but explained they had a sudden increase in customers and apologized for the delay in one order which was an additional item to share. He was very apologetic and so pleasant that we fully understood. Acknowledging to us for the delay helped us understand as well. He still kept returning to be sure we didn't need anything and we noticed he and another server were doing this for everyone despite being so busy. Never once did they make us feel like they were too busy to meet our needs. We felt that all of the dishes were very delicious and the service could not have been better. The staff should be commended for their professionalism and we certainly appreciated our delicious food and great service.”

“Was craving Asian comfort food but am very picky (I don't do chains for Asian food) so it was a treat to find this little gem in San Antonio. The owners are so nice (the kids are adorable) and very friendly. But never mind the service, lets get to ambiance and food. Although small, the restaurant is very Instagram-able, all the walls have beautiful or interesting artwork. Very cute! The food was terrific. The chicken karaage was crispy and the sauce was a little unique. Add a little of the Japanese hot chili powder and you're good to go! Both regular and spicy edamame had good seasoning and cooked properly (I hate soggy edamame!). For mains, we had the Chicken fried rice which was tasty. My friend who loves spicy, had the volcano heat bowl with chicken and he said it was delicious and wolfed it down in minutes. What I absolutely loved was the Winter special Yoshiya Beef Udon. The beef was tender and the broth was full of umami, hearty and very satisfying. I ate it all and drank down the last of the broth, too. Highly recommend that you try this place. Owners are originally from Los Angeles and their recipes are on par with my favorite places in LA and SF. If I ever make it back to San Antonio, I'm stopping here for sure!”
“Texan Sizzle is a fantastic breakfast and lunch restaurant in downtown San Antonio. It is a smallish spot with only a few tables inside. I had the breakfast tacos on Sunday and thought they were so good I had to go back and try the breakfast sandwiches on Monday. “We visited Flemings Steakhouse at the Quarry. We started with a blueberry lemon drop martini which was a great choice. For our appetizer, we went with their crab cakes which were super delicious. My husband also ordered the lobster bisque which was creamy rich and had generous portions of lobster. However, when it came time for the main course, there was a slight hiccup. I ordered the ribeye with a lobster tail, while my husband opted for the ribeye with crab legs. Unfortunately, my steak had an off taste that seemed like spoilage after just a couple of bites.After confirming with my husband that the steak did indeed have an unusual flavor, I decided to bring it to the attention of our waiter, Josh. I must commend the waiter for his prompt and gracious response. Without hesitation, he arranged for a replacement steak to be prepared. The second steak was a vast improvement. I am not one to send food back so I felt bad but I also didn’t want to get sick. Throughout this experience, the staff, including which I believe may have been the head chef and manager, demonstrated a high level of attentiveness and professionalism. “The TLDR is this: great meal and service, but not excellent. Not worth the $270+ price.I was very excited to try Tardif and we have no problem paying premium prices for excellent food and service but it just fell a bit short in all areas. The music was so loud you had trouble hearing others at your table. The waitress we had was excellent but they need more support. You waited a long time for drink refills and no one helped her with that or the clearing of plates and the table. Other restaurants with similar prices often have staff just to assist with those elements. And then the food... the bone marrow and raclette were excellent, the side dishes (potato pave, lobster mac n cheese, cauliflower gratin) were very good, but the entrees were mediocre. His chautebriand was too thick and very chewy and the seasoning was non existent. My beef wellington was good but again, almost flavorless. I wouldn't say this isn't worth trying but I'm not clear on who they want to be. A 5-star dining experience is what they're charging for, but that is not the experience you receive, nor the quality of food.Parking: The lot is shared with a texas roadhouse, so good luck. A place trying to be this upscale should offer valet.”

They advertise clean and fresh ingredients which is even better. We got the pepperoni and fig and Brie pizzata and the kids shared the French toast. They offer a good selection of craft beer and both of the ones we tried were great. We’re craft beer snobs so we know a good beer when we taste it. The outside patio has plenty of room and shade and the inside looked comfortable. The servers were very friendly and definitely had a teamwork approach which was great to see. Ribs are excellent with plenty of meat and not too much fat, very tender. Brisket is genuinely the best I've had yet: very juicy, very tender, and with a really nice bark. They offer slivered onions, pickle chips and jalapeños up front, and they'll carve off whatever you like right there at the counter. And the seating is basically long picnic tables with plenty of paper towels, plus a bar in the back. If I lived in San Antonio, they'd have to beat me with a stick to get me out of this place.”

“If I could give 10 stars for service, I would! We hired Heavenly Gourmet for our wedding on 3/16/24 and it was an amazing experience all around! From the setup of the tasting to the actual wedding day, it was AMAZING! We went with the Heavenly stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and sauteed veggies, and we got so many compliments on it! That poblano cream sauce is to die for! They also gave us a military discount (husband is USMC), and they threw in a free mac and cheese bar as a late-night snack if we booked within 72 hours. I called them a few weeks before our event and asked about appetizers because I hadn't figured out what to do for cocktail hour yet. They only charged for the actual appetizers, not extra fees for extra people or anything, and they were passed appetizers. They bring multiple people, so you don't have to worry about a thing. They helped with the cake cutting, they cleaned up plates and cups during and after dinner, and they even helped with venue clean up at the end of the night! This company goes above and beyond for their clients! I would 1000% recommend this company for your catering needs! They were easy to get a hold of whenever I needed anything, they were there on time, and stayed late!”

“Great find and a much needed break from the usual. There is a ton of parking. Atmosphere is modern but smart. There is about an equal divide between indoor and outdoor seating, along with a handful of bar seats. Wine menu has several wines rated 90+ points by Wine Spectator. The wine and cocktail menus is focused but more than adequate. Wifey and I are usually winos, but we opted for their speciality cocktails--delicious. Apps were fantastic: burrata, bread, and calamari. She had a seafood pasta dish and I ravioli with short rib meat. Service is excellent. The only negative is the noise level: it's just too damned loud. This can easily improve with sound absorption so that patrons can speak easily.”

For dessert got the smores panacata, that was a good 4 out of 5. Tasted really good but was a little too sweet for me(I'm not a sweet person but did enjoy). The atmosphere was nice drinks were really strong. Just took a bit to get plates but food was hot. Fiance also had the 3 cheese meatballs definitely recommended those. He had the parmasean lambchops those were okay felt like they were too breaded.”
