Even though I live not top far from San Antonio and often come down for work, I have to be honest and say I haven't done much exploring here. However, finding out about Kilwins was so delightful! A chocolate shop super close to the Alamo with free fudge and ice cream samples?? Sign me up! We were in town for three nights, and we had ice cream from here, every night! My favorite is the chocolate toasted coconut, and my wife preferred the raspberry sorbet. The fresh made waffle cones are amazing too! You're going to walk off all those calories, so treat yourself, it is SO worth it!!

I liked this place quite a bit! I ordered the double scoop and had Marshmallow Smore and Alamo Mud as my flavors, and for 10$, it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were quite subtle, and I defenitly loved the caramel swirl! The staff were also nice and they make your order fast. They also had free fudge samples, because they have that too. The Turtle flavor was very good! If you love ice cream, I reccomend this place if you are in San Antonio!
