Our table was ignored for a very long time. We asked servers who was our server and they did not know. We were not too upset because the patio was beautiful and we were able to get our drinks from the bar.

We came for a workday birthday lunch. Made reservations a week prior so plenty of notice of a big group of 15 coming. The worst service ever. Took 1 hour to get the drink order. Took an hour and 45 minutes for lunch. They had one server and one cook. The food came out in sections. Constantly had to keep asking for our parties food. Never refilled a drink, chip, or salsa. Forgot several items. Very unpleasant attitudes. I don't know where the manager was, but this place needs a complete overhaul in management.

The outdoor patio under the big tree is amazing. Margaritas are pretty good and they had a great acoustic guitar player out on the patio as well. Very relaxing for after work on a Friday.

Just had a 200 person Fiesta event at LF Comida and it was amazing! The manager, Rafael, was delightful and accommodating. The wait staff were fast, friendly and accurate. Great food! We'll do it again next year! Viva!

Very nice atmosphere and our server was very friendly. He did take a while to come back to our table with a second round of drinks and finally our check. The food was delicious, loved the rice and beans and tacos al carbon.

Not sure where to start but something has changed at this location. Chips no longer made in house..coming from a bag..honestly looked and tasted like HEB brand yellow chips..please go back to your own!Secondly, my wife had the chicken mole plate. Unfortunately they smothered the small piece of chicken so much it really didn't taste that good. I had the Pollo Loco plate with what I expected to be three chicken thighs. Previously the thighs were always so big you could share or even take some home to enjoy next day..not anymore..all three equal what was previously 3 of them. The bowl of beans came from a can, added something to make you thing they were freshly made but really were not. Asked for tortillas and they brought out gorditas instead. One bright spot was the freshly brewed lemonade..but nothing else unfortunately. This was our favorite place to come and bring friends and family.Unless something changes drastically no way is it worth the prices though the ambiance is still one of the best.We don't plan on coming back anytime soon.

The outdoors tables are great for spring time in SA. However the food was mediocre at best, the flavors were bland. The flan was not creamy and or flavorful. I was disappointed as I had been at this test in Vance Jackson and the food was delicious and very traditional.

The only issue was a small delay in meal service due to wait-staff... but well worth it. An added bonus was the play area for the kids while we watched them for the deck above under a beautiful huge 150+ year old Live Oak tree. It was a perfect evening.

Nice outdoor seating but that's about it. Thirty minutes to get a watered down margarita and then 30+ more minutes to get mediocre food. I don't know what has happened to this formerly good restaurant.

So, I can see why they get 3 star reviews, food is decent, ambiance nice outdoors place, but just like the other location on VJ, the hostess suck, they have zero personality, they greet you with a frown, they don't tell you good bye, kiss my grits, what do they do, stare at their phones, wake up management!

What a joke! The Tacos Al Pastor - grease poured out all over the plate and my hands. The tiny tacos look like something from Barbie's trailer park BBQ cook off. This place isn't cheap and my the food is horrible! $15 for three tiny greasy crappy tacos. Idk what happened to this place because I loved La Fogata. Now, it's La FoNotttta!

We went there to eat your tacos de cochinita Pibil only to find out that you took them out of your menu and your website is not updated. Regardless, we stayed and enjoyed something else. The mole enchiladas were delicious.

New restaurant has really nice outdoor seating and play area for the kids. The indoor seating leaves a lot to be desired with a bright red neon sign that ruins the ambiance. Service was pretty slow as we waited quite some time for our food order to be taken. Server also didn't come back to check on us until we had almost finished our meals. As a family, we ordered tacos, fajitas, and shrimp brochette which all were enjoyable. No complaints from anyone at the table about their meals. Prices are a little higher than we expected but overall it was a good experience.

We come here a lot and will continue to come here. However, our service was not the best this last time. She forgot multiple things, and we had to get up twice to get water from the bar. She completely forgot the last drink order so we just paid the check and went somewhere else. She didn't write any of the orders down and that could have been part of the problem. The food was excellent as always.
