We have been there multiple times and have had a bad experience, nonetheless we give it another shot expecting our experience will change but it hasn't. We were there 03/23/24 to celebrate a friends birthday. Being a high end and well known steak house I'd expect them to know how to cook a steak, nevertheless two members of the party myself included had to send back our steak. I speak for mine, it was OVER cooked to well done!! They bring it back under cooked and the waiter asks " can you please cut into it" shining a flash light at my plate he should know that what I was cutting into was not what I ordered! I kept my mouth shut because I was overly disappointed and upset. I wasn't going to argue while I was there for my friends birthday celebration but the waiter should have picked up instantly that just as I cut into my steak instantly moved my plate to the side. We paid over 500.00 that evening for two people and for them to completely mess up my steak not once but twice is ridiculous. Moving on to my husband, he ordered king crab legs asked for pricing and also asked the waiter if the half order would be a good portion. The waiter said the half order was 75.00 but didn't think it would be filling so my husband ordered the full order. When we got our check he paid 225.00 for a full order!?!? How do you go from 75 to 225 and let me tell you they weren't that great!! Again we didn't argue we paid the check since we were there for a party and didn't want to argue. The service was terrible I had to ask for more water, he just never cared to refill glasses he also NEVER asked me if I cared for another cocktail, AND also messed up tickets. We where there for 4 hours due to service being so slow and steaks being messed up; horrible on so many levels! We have had issues in the past with our steak, we didn't complain or left a bad review, we didn't even send our steak back we just thought it was a busy night for them, but having this happen over and over is not ok specially since it's not a cheap tab! My husband has done bourbon tastings at Kirby's and quit going since he said they were getting too crowded with no where to sit and simply not enjoyable anymore. Kirby do better!!

Pretty disappointed on this restaurant. It took about 10 min for our waiter to come and introduce himself! Then it took 20 min for me to get my ice tea. The salad had half of a grape tomatoes..

Made dinner reservation online in January for Valentine's Day. Today, 4 days before Valentines Day I received a call to verify my reservation and oh by the way was told that there was only a fixed menu that night and the price was $110 per person due to expected high volume. Surprise...the 14 of Feb is Valentines Day every year. The manager admitted that Kirby's had decided on a fixed menu and price recently after I had made my reservation. The manager transferred me to the Regional Manager (17 years with Kirby's) who confirmed their recent menu decision. If I had known that the menu and price was fixed I would have not made the reservation. Adding insult to injury the Regional Manager was indifferent to the situation and could have cared less. Canceled reservation and refuse to fall victim to price gouging.

We went there a few times years ago. Wasn't memorable. Wasn't bad, wasn't good. We tried again a couple of months ago when we met Matt. The manager. Wow!! It has changed. The service was amazingly. Stunned how amazing the food was. It's turned into a weekly stop now.

The service and food are phenomenal. We've been here twice and both times have been exceptional. The mood and vibe are perfect for our date nights. This last time we were lucky enough to catch happy hour which had great specials.

Last night was date night for hubby and me. I made reservations for us to have dinner @kirbysprimesteakhouse. We had bought tickets for Lauren Daigle's concert. David and I both had wine. He had Benton Lane Pinot Noir, and I had a Malbec. David ordered the Angus Ribeye, and I had the Pan Roasted Sea Bass with lobster risotto. With both our entrées, it came with a choice of soup or salad. Both of us chose salads - Thousand Island dressing for hubby, and Ranch for me. The salad was a generous serving. David's ribeye was well-seasoned and so flavorful. My lobster risotto was fantastic. The sea bass was cooked perfectly, yet it lacked flavor. Nico brought a beurre blanc and it helped. We shared the feedback when the manager visited our table. He offered to remake the fish, but I didn't want that. He then offered a complimentary dessert. We chose the creme brulee.

Excellent food quality and flavor. Ambiance much like that of a higher level steakhouse making it a perfect location to go to for happy hour and the food! The happy hour offerings are great and include lamb chops and the best dressed best quality hot dog ever! Staff are courteous and super helpful. On one visit, the steak was not quite to my wife's approval and immediate offer for replacement was offered. She elected to return at a later date and was given a card full a full dinner free of charge.

The Redfish is the best. And the scallop potatoes are really really good enough for two.

Very impressed with the flavor of the steak. Cooked to expectation. Side items were a nice sized portion. Evening lighting made for a nice date night

Arrived 15 minutes prior to our reservation so we had a few drinks at the bar. The bartenders were great. Funny and attentive to the patrons. After drinks we were seated immediately and Jane (our waitress) was fantastic. Very communicative, funny and friendly. Her recommendations were spot on and she kept our drinks full. My wife had the Maui Maui and I had the Angus ribeye and both were excellent along with the sides. It was a nice evening and we had a great time.

Went for the Happy Hour. Ordered the Lamb Chops, that everyone raves about, The grilled tequila shrimp and 2 martinis. The service was great. The food not so much. I really wanted to like it, but the lamb chops were room temperature and the shrimp was rubbery. The martinis were good though.

Door sign says that it opens at 4:30. On yelp it says 5:00. We arrived for happy hour, with some people already seated at the bar area, by 4:45. Plenty of empty tables. We were told that unless we had reservation we wouldn't be seated. Not very gracious. We used to love this place. Staff has completely changed, and not for the better. Very disappointed.

My friend and I met for a girls nite dinner. She requires gluten free menu and was pleased with options. Our steaks were perfect. My fav is always lobster risotto as a side. Kirby's never disappoints.

ROY WAS OUR BOY!! We aren't the easiest bunch. We can be indecisive, wordy, ask for extras, one of us is gluten free, and one of us always orders a margarita and almost always complains or sends it back. That did not happen today. Today, Roy made the entire night light and fun. He was super knowledgeable and a total gem. Two of the desert wines I ordered were unavailable and he found something similar off menu and got us a great deal on it. If possible, I recommend his managers send him home with a bottle of that wine (Le Sauternes 2013) because he shared that he hadn't tried it yet. He's awesome. When we're back in town, we will be requesting him as our waiter again.
