A Stellar Mother’s Day Dinner at PappadeauxSan Antonio! Our recent visit to Pappadeaux for an early Mother’s Day dinner was nothing short of delightful. Venturing from Austin to the San Antonio location along I10, we were impressed by its spacious layout. From start to finish, our culinary journey was a testament to Pappadeaux's consistency in both food and service. We indulged in an array of dishes, each one surpassing our expectations. The crawfish and shrimp fondue tantalized our taste buds with its creamy richness, while the naked halibut and red fish Alexander showcased the restaurant's mastery of seafood. The fried shrimp and seafood platter were equally delectable, offering a satisfying crunch and a burst of oceanic flavors.Complementing our meal were the patron margaritas, which proved to be a refreshing accompaniment to the savory dishes. However, what truly elevated our dining experience was our server, Xavier. His attentiveness and insightful recommendations enhanced our evening, making it even more memorable. For exceptional service, I highly recommend requesting to be seated in his section.Overall, our visit to Pappadeaux reaffirmed why it remains a favorite dining destination for us. With its unwavering commitment to quality food and impeccable service, Pappadeaux continues to set the standard for an unforgettable dining experience. Whether it's a special occasion or a casual outing, Pappadeaux never fails to impress.

The food was pretty good The only problem I had was they had a sign for oysters and they told me that was last week's. Take the sign down if it's not true anymore

We loved our meals and had great service. ? I had the Mardi Gras dish and thought that it had the right blend of spice. ?️ My wife had the shrimp alfredo and liked the flavor but she thought the shrimp smell was a bit overwhelming. ? We also ordered a cheesecake for dessert and it was delicious. ?

The hostess did not receive us well. She exchanged rolling of eyes with two other employees. Super expensive for the portions. Not my favorite place

Can't believe it took us this long to visit Pappadeaux. The food was outstanding. The portions were decent. The service was outstanding. The drinks were tasty and well balanced. I almost felt like I was back in Europe, in a very positive way, with the pace in regards to time between courses and the no pressure to "hurry up" as is so common. We're definitely looking forward to our next visit. If I had to pick on anything, it'd have to be prices, but nowadays everyone is taking the opportunity to bump prices. If I am going to pay a premium, then I expect the food and service to be on point. And it was.Parking: Plenty of parking all around the restaurant. There is a guard driving around keeping an eye on things as well.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kids in the restaurant while we were there. We had some young adults with us also. They were treated well, many options for them, and they enjoyed their meals.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
