Can't believe it took us this long to visit Pappadeaux. The food was outstanding. The portions were decent. The service was outstanding. The drinks were tasty and well balanced. I almost felt like I was back in Europe, in a very positive way, with the pace in regards to time between courses and the no pressure to "hurry up" as is so common. I love Pappadeaux. It had been a favorite for over 20 years. However, today it seemed a little greedy. I ordered the grilled red snapper with jumbo crab. That is what the menu said. I got the snapper with few shredded pieces of crab. I questioned about the jumbo crab and the waiter said it’s just that shredded pieces of crab, but he would bring me more crab. We loved our meals and had great service. ? I had the Mardi Gras dish and thought that it had the right blend of spice. ?️ My wife had the shrimp alfredo and liked the flavor but she thought the shrimp smell was a bit overwhelming. ? We also ordered a cheesecake for dessert and it was delicious. ?
