The Bestest and I mean Bestest roll I've ever had in 51 years of life. Service was great the lill dude in my photo's works there and was ready to pose for my review he didn't even know I'm doing. Great lill dude and wonderful service and reasonable prices. Thank you, Gil's Broiler & Manske Roll

First time in the area and heard this place was great. Walked in and wasn't greeted by the staff (staff of 2 people). Cashier seemed to be texting. I had to ask if we just sit wherever we wanted. I thought there was a menu so I went up to see if I could find one. Just saw a M-F daily specials and the manske roll menu. Maybe I missed the food menu? I just ended up looking online for it. Noticed there was only 1 cook so I figured our food would take a while. Went to the back to use the bathroom, and it smelled like mold back there. As we were still figuring out what to order we decided to leave. The employees just didn't seem interested in basic customer service and we felt it. Ended up coming to another place down the road.

This San Marcos favorite has been in business for seemingly forever. While I do like the chili burger quite a bit, the real winner is the manske roll. They also have independent soda companies on tap that are novel and fun when compared to your typical coke.
I can’t say anything about the other food. I didn’t know people came here for anything other than THE ROLLS. If I was stuck on an island and could only have two things it would be Texas Roadhouse Rolls and Manske Rolls.

Food was good, the tater tots were really crispy which I liked. Got Manske rolls to go and froze then when I got home. Heated one up today and it was muy deliciously.
