Great little place. The only reason for a 4 star is that they do not allow/provide samples. There were 5 of us, and 2 of us did not like the flavor they chose. I'm guessing they don't provide samples because they are in the middle of college town and students come in getting samples of every flavor, then don't buy anything. Idk.
Delicious!!!! I usually buy two pints a month. Goat cheese raspberry is my favorite flavor and it's so unique! The waffle cones are really good and i usually buy extra to-go. The place is always clean. Fast service. They deserve all the support and love

I was so excited when I found out Rhea's had a San Marcos location. I had originally discovered its New Braunfels location after leaving Schlitterbahn one day, and it instantly became my favorite ice cream shop! Not only is everything handmade, but it's delicious too! I absolutely love their wafflecones, and my favorite flavor is their caramel sea salt. It's hard to find wafflecones that are authentic, flavorful, and don't taste like cardboard, but Rhea's made them perfectly....read full review
