Ordered fish n chips, 1tbs coleslaw literally, fish was not fully cooked and to top it off there was a brown hair about 8 inches long in the fish!!! Refund? Still waiting over a week.

I really like the food here. This is one of my favorite restaurants in San Marcos. My favorite dishes are the Chicken Pot Pie and the Shephard's Pie. The patio is dog friendly, and on my most recent visit, I brought my puppy, Bogart. The waitress brought out a bowl with fresh water for him, which was nice. I look forward to my next visit.

Highly disappointed in this place. The corned beef was tough and over done. My kiddos french fries were not cooked and when I mentioned it they just said sorry. No one would wipe down seats for people. Place was just about the $$$ Fados knew how to celebrate ?

Don't let the stars fool you, let me explain. The food here is consistently amazing. Absolutely wonderful. The service/atmosphere is rated as such because it is still a bar downtown in San Marcos and there are times where they're just simply too busy for the amount of staff present. It's not a fancy place or an upscale place, so higher stars would be really misleading. Despite that, if I'm in San Marcos, I'm eating here every time. The Beef on Weck, Fish n Chips, and Philly Baked Potato are all top notch choices.Parking: Parking can be annoying based on time of day.
Great place to hang around...have a great meal and a few drinks. Easily my comfort food go-to.
