“I love finding awesome small businesses! Found this little jewel while traveling to San Angelo, TX.The now, proud owner returned to his home town of San Saba to find this old 1930s something Gulf Station in desperate need of some TLC. He could see the potential so he purchased the property and then spent the next few years painstakingly restoring the building. His hard work certainly paid off!While the menu is not extensive, it is filled with some great options. I had a quesadilla that was one of the best I've ever had. My husband had the Durango sandwich also delicious. Everything is made to order so you have time to kick back and enjoy the place.The owner, "Head Honcho" ( an Aggie graduate) took our order and served us. We couldn't have asked for better service. A very enjoyable experience. We'll be sure to stop in on our next trip.“

“Man as I sat there waiting for my food I read the reviews on this place. I was thinking where have we picked to eat . But I have to say it was so good . Clean restrooms didn’t see any bugs of any kind . Our waitress was very good and I watched as she was the same with all of her tables there was at least 3 workers on the floor. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.“

“Always a GREAT time out here at the Bend..great atmosphere, music, food, friendly staff, meeting new friends. We are like family out here! Bret has done a Awesome job with this place...having great music & bands to listen to, making it a cozy, warm friendly place.where u can visit, stay in a cabin if you want, have excess to a store, play pool, darts, corn hole. I even love getting to pet & scratch the dogs back & listen to the rooster sing along with the band sometimes..where else can u get such great entertainment!.And still have the down to earth country vibe.Love it!“

“I was in San Saba for a quick trip to see my Mom at a new care home there and found Brew D Brewhouse. As a craft beer lover when I saw brewhouse... I had to stop in and I'm so glad I did. I had a very yummy couple Of beers and all you can eat catfish dinner. The catfish tasted fresh and clean (not muddy at all) hot fries, crisp coleslaw, and spicy beans completed the meal. It was all so good (maybe a little salty but that's just me. The main event was the beer, I had a blonde that was hazy and so so yummy, then a honey brew beer that was fresh and light and not too sweet. They had the craft brews but also the regular Bud and Bud Light and all the rest that some folks enjoy. The service was fast and efficient, the place was clean, food fresh and hot and the beer was fresh and cold! I will be stopping in again.“

“Amazing place! Everyone is so friendly. The food was so good, the service was incredible, and the ambiance was so nice. We were in town to go hiking and this was the perfect way to wrap up a long day. The bar is so cute and both of the bar tenders were so nice! Special shout out to our waitress Bailey, and Maddie who literally saved our vacation (she also works at the hotel, girl does it all).“
