“It's dairy queen! If you've been to one you pritty much seen them all.That being said their food is consistently good almost no matter which one you go to.Service was fast, friendly, and with a smile. Atmosphere included local officer grabbing a meal (good indicator of good food).“

“Luckily, we missed a turn and drive an extra few blocks which allowed us to see the sign for the Cattle Drive Cafe. With so many pick-up trucks parked out front at lunchtime, we knew it was worth a try. We were not disappointed. From the hostess greeting is with a big smile (and crayons & coloring menu for our toddler), to our server Darlene, and everyone else, we felt welcomed in a friendly atmosphere. Darlene took time to answer all of our menu questions, even checking with the kitchen for a specific inquiry. The burgers were big, juicy, and full of flavor. We were fortunate to have enjoyed an excellent lunch at the Cattle Drive Cafe. When we travel back through Coleman County this will be on our list again! Stop in for some Texas hospitality and a great meal, too!Parking: Diagonal pull-in street parking out front, plenty of parking for the what lunch crowd.Kid-friendliness: Staff was very friendly with our toddler. Decent items on the kids menu, or just share a burger with Mom.“

“The food is melt in your mouth - Delicious! Love the atmosphere-football on all tv's & full barJosie Wells was our waitress both times - top notch service!!Our first visit was at Christmas- we drove over to Coleman to shop downtown and decided to eat at the cattle drive. We went back last night.The "cowboy sushi" - our new favorite appetizer.Worth the drive from anywhere!! Our new favorite place to eat. Go in hungry come out full with leftovers to eat later!“

“If you’re out here hungry on Hiway 283 in the middle of nowhere, stop here. You don’t have a lot of choices but, this isn’t settling for any old thing. This place is great. Had the hot wings and mango habanero . WOW! Perfect amount of heat and flavor. Not greasy. The regular cheeseburger also was awesome on the jalapeño bun. A little too much mayo made it hard to eat without the bun & veggie’s sliding around, but a perfectly cooked and seasoned patty. They have 8 different kinds of tea! and they are wonderful. They make their own ketchup-which was great-you can actually taste the tomato-and a special sauce which was kinda like an aioli-Don sauce. The dirty pretzels also don’t disappoint-bacon & cheese. This place was great and worth the stop.“
