“Pook’s Crawfish Hole was everything I expected and more. The crawfish had a great flavor and the menu was great, even providing options for kids who do not eat seafood. My husband had the Pook’s platter so he was able to get a mix of boiled crawfish, shrimp, and crab. Our waitress, Shelbi, was amazing and she was very helpful. I can’t wait to go back for more crawfish!“

“Absolutely delicious! I ordered six pounds of crawfish, corn, potatoes, and sausage for less than $50. The sides are not seasoned with the crawfish but it doesn't make them any less delicious. I recommend the side of butter for the sides. Boyd's crawfish is an absolute steel for the price, quality, and size! Boyds outshines the other local crawfish restaurants. Great job!“

“This is my second review of this eatery. My first review was based on breakfast; breakfast at a seafood restaurant. This time around I'm basing it on the actual seafood that was ordered by me and a friend. As a result the rating has been increased to a full 5 star. The service and the ambiance remain the same. The seafood is well prepared and the servings are more than generous. The fried okra and onion rings are well battered and crisp with good seasoning. The Po-Boy is a straight up one foot long so you either split it with someone or take half home. Crisp shrimp, crispy fried catfish..oh my! Hurry on over and then take home a pastry.“

“Solid restaurant. Easy to call for pickup and be in and out in an instant. Hamburgers are better than average. They sub mixed veggies for the fries and it's a good portion with good flavor. Have never had anything bad here; a good quality choice for seafood or grill.“

We love to bring our out of town friends as well as the locals that have never been here and we have had no complaints from anyone. A lovely & welcome addition to this area…they never disappoint! “I picked up the 3 fish and 6 shrimp. This a lot of food. Fish and shrimp are big pieces. Catfish was very good and perfectly cooked. Butterfly shrimp was fresh and just as good. Food was delicious. The coleslaw was maybe the best I have ever tasted. Very delicious coleslaw. Need to go back and order just a large coleslaw. Highly recommend. Definitely a hidden gem in dickinson.“

“I reserved the Emmitte Room to host a surprise 50th anniversary party for my parents. I live overseas and worked with Doug to plan the party from 8000 miles away without every stepping foot in the restaurant or seeing the Emmitte Room in real life until the day before the event. Doug was so great to work with! He not only executed the party flawlessly, but he helped to ensure that my anxiety was kept at bay. Brandice was the lead server the evening of the party and she was the ultimate professional and added so much value to an already amazing evening! “Good draft beer selection and attentive bartenders. Food selection is good and more interesting than the typical sports bar of this style. Food quality was more on par with typical sports bar and didn't quite live up to the bistreaux expectations.“

“We got delivery for our salads and french fries, and it came quickly. The fries were still hot, and the salads were cold. My only complaint is the fries were slightly soggy in a way? Not a problem for my family though. Because we prefer them that way. Amazing food and a great tradition for my family.“

“Cajun shack is my go-to, always, for a lot of food but especially the crawfish. I get Cajun dust, garlic butter, and lemon pepper altogether and extra spicy and it’s a 10/10 every time! Anahi and Beatriz always take such great care of us <3“
