Of course, every server we've had has been awesome, but Nicolas set himself on a higher level by his outgoing personality and professionalism. But it was athletic basketball abilities that really wowed the crowd. Yes, I said athletic abilities...So one of the many many kids that were "electronically entertained" (I'm not exaggerating...EVERY kid in that place had a phone or tablet captivating their robotic attention)...one of those kids wasn't paying attention and knocked over a syrup bottle. Nicolas caught that out of the corner of his eye, lept over to that table and snatched it just before hitting the ground and making a massive mess. He did this amazing rolling recovery off the floor, popped up and calmly placed it back on the table like nothing even happened!!!! “This place has absolutely delicious burgers. However, fries and drink do not come with the burger, they are a separate charge. When the burgers are already $10 by themselves, it is a bit expensive. But on the plus side, they have a station where you can put whatever veggies and condiments you want on your burger yourself, so you don't have to worry about them messing up your order. You order, then they give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. We like going here because there are always seats available even when it is super busy, and you can pick wherever you want to sit. For families it is great, because they have larger seating tables available and high chairs. If you have room after eating those massive burgers, their shakes are great as well.“

“My sister n law who lives in the area took me to this place in Webster, Texas, right outside of Houston. I love the food. This is a hometown friendly family restaurant. Our server, a young lady named Page, was so sweet, friendly, professional, and on top of everything. What a pleasure it was to have her as our server. Oh, and the carrot cake was to die for oh so good. When I come to visit this area again because I'm from Chicago, I'll definitely go back to this restaurant in the Webster Clear Bay area. “I visited a few times before adding a review. The best part of Craft 96 is the consistency. The service is consistently fast, friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is consistently clean, including the restrooms. The beer is consistently great with a nice variety of flavors and styles. The food is consistently delicious. Whether it's a salad and a cream ale, a bowl of mac and cheese and a porter or a sandwich and a stout, they have what you want to eat and drink and they'll serve it with a great attitude and a smile and when it arrives it'll be hot and fresh. This is an A+ 5 star spot that I will continue to patronize.“

They just started having steak night on Wednesday's. Definitely worth going for steaks cooked to order by my friend Denby. You get Angus steak, potatoe, side and salad for $25. My wife and I can split 1 and it's plenty. The bar and wait staff are the best. Drinks are reasonably priced and consistent.“
“This place has been on the list to try for a while. We live about 40 min away, but it's a halfway point for friends who live closer to Galveston. We went on a Friday evening, there was live music- southern blues, was loud, but it was live music. It was wet outside so we sat inside. Kids may have been more patient if they got to play games on the patio. We got lasagna sticks- delicious, big fat cheesesticks- the kids LOVED them, and 2 pizzas. Kids got a 1/2 cheese, 1/2 pepperoni and after all of their cheese stick intake filled up fast. 3 adults shared a 16" Squiddy- which is the pizza of the month for March- it was different and tasty. Crust is def homemade and we thank you for that! My husband had an old fashioned, it wasn't anything to call home about and I tried a beer (8th wonder of the world), it was tasty. I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting the area and we will most likely go back with friends. It's not a cheap culinary adventure, but it was very good.Kid-friendliness: I think when it's not raining, games on the patio would keep kids entertained. As it was last night they got bored, but they thoroughly enjoyed the food.“

I live overseas and worked with Doug to plan the party from 8000 miles away without every stepping foot in the restaurant or seeing the Emmitte Room in real life until the day before the event. Doug was so great to work with! He not only executed the party flawlessly, but he helped to ensure that my anxiety was kept at bay. “So Waffle House is a strange place, a super reliable place to get a decent meal pretty quickly. They are pretty small inside with about 5-6 tables and a bar that sits 10-15 people. They still take orders on paper and you pay at the register. They are open 24/7 365 days a year, in fact FEMA has an unofficial disaster scale based on Waffle House’s operational state. If the Waffle House’s in the area are fully open then the disaster isn’t that bad, if they are closed then it’s apocalyptic. The waffles are good, better be at a place called Waffle House. The bowls are big and definitely filling. The breakfast sandwiches are excellent. Definitely come by if you want some Good Food Fast.“

“Some really good food, the problem is you have to wait a long while to get it. Prices are really good. $55 for a young family of 5. We were the only ones there pretty much and waited 30 minutes for the food. The staff is very nice it's just that usually it's only one young lady serving and hostess. The food is cooked correctly, the lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, etc. all look like actual FRESH VEGETABLES on my burger! That's pretty rare for the most part! Honestly, when is the last time that you've bought a great looking burger ? that actually looked the way it's advertised on the TV? ? I can't even remember when that happened for me.IDK now, how staff is trained or what is being done differently now in 2024? But there's been a major change from 20-30 years ago? Maybe it's as simple as ... the staff actually did care about how they prepared our burgers! Now, when I get my burger, I lift off the top bun and way too often, ... I am served a burger with wilted lettuce, yukky sliced tomatoes that are still green, have old spots, or missing pickles, if I get ONE tiny piece of a pickle at all that is! I've tried to complain or requested another burger, but mostly the re-done burger is still half-ask prepared. All that to say ... I enjoy my Hamburger from Dairyland and it's prepared the way that I ordered it! Give them a try!!!“

She had sausage, chicken and ribs. We ordered different side...I ordered onion rings as an "appetizer" also.Do how do they "finish" their BBQ different from all the big names.... tender, lots of smoke and NO GREASE. I feel the bog names either don't render the fat out, or they ADD fat grease back in to try to keep their meat tender. EITHER way it leaves all their Q greasy.JOE's meats while having the good flavor of FAT, they are not greasy. While being fork tender they are NOT greasy.Joe's is topnotch BBQ....if you are in or thru Alvin on Tx 6 or 35....stop In and get your BBQ itch scratched.
