“What can I say!! This is one of the best restaurants we have eaten at in a while! It is a little hidden gem!! Everything has such great flavor !! The Gumbo is fantastic and the chicken and the pecan praline waffle is out of this world!! You definitely will not be disappointed with anything!! And to top it all off the food is Hot made to order and worth the wait!! Definitely will be going back to try some other things!! Our table also had the shrimp and grits and they were very tasty!! The chef deserves to be recognized!!”

“The meat was dry and a bit bland. The brisket was a weird square shape as well, usually it's shaped like bacon. The meat tasted like it was cooked in an oven and then finished on the smoker.

They had an all you can eat (AYCE) option as well but the normal 2 meat portion was more then plenty.

The people were super friendly, the portions were good and the atmosphere was nice so overall I would go back if I was nearby but I wouldn't drive out of my way.

One more thing, be prepared to smell like a smokehouse if you eat inside.”

“I dropped in for a quick lunch on Sat. I saw Kao Soi on the menu and had to try it, since is not available everywhere in the Houston area.
The restaurant recommended 2 spiciness level out of 10. I think this is right for 80% of Houstonians. It’s definitely spicy with curry and chili mix, but not burning your mouth to an hour ;)
The soup has a nice flavor and you see sliced chicken breast, sweet and sour pickled collard greens, fresh red onions, bean sprouts, cilantro, and lime. I tried with and without lime juice, but the jury is still out on this :)
They use flat egg noodles that are half portions boiled and half fried as they should be. It’s definitely authentic and I’ll come back to try other items like Crab Fried Rice, Larb, Som Tum, etc.”

“First time visiting this location and it’s just as good as the rest. They were very friendly and welcoming and my food was so delicious! I couldn’t make up my mind whether I wanted the Philly cheesesteak or popcorn shrimp so I had both. They did not disappoint!”

“This is hands-down the best Dairy Queen in our area. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is always clean, and you can just look around and tell that it's well managed. The food at this location is hot and fresh, and they make better Blizzards than other locations. Although there is another DQ closer to us, we go out of our way to go to this location.”
