“We placed a to-go order for our family of six (5 people eating) and of course this is a splurge for us these days but this food was worth it! Excellent fajitas (chicken and beef), lip-smacking ceviche, and fantastic "green plate" (grilled zucchini and avocado with delicious lime chicken)! We overlooked the red salsa and realized we didn't eat it with our meal afterward, but the leftover salsa and chips made yummy chilaquiles the next morning. ? We plan to frequent Sargento's now and love that they are conveniently located just a few minutes from us.“

“Fresh, clean, flavorful meats, rice and beans. Awesome condiments, salsas, pico, etc. Tortillas are also great, price is good. The only criticisms are that the pint of beans was a lot more "juice" than beans, and the rice portion was small for the price.“

“Listen, I know how leery people can be with food trucks/trailers but listen here… these breakfast tacos come straight from the taco gods themselves. I’m from the Gulf Coast originally where breakfast tacos are abundant and these breakfast tacos are by far in my top 3 of all breakfast tacos I’ve ever had in my life. The tortillas are perfection.“

“It's a small hole-in-the-wall, so we expected the food to be authentic, and it was. The pupusas were good but not impressive, however the spicy cabbage salad and salsas it came with were great. I got a chicken dish that tasted like a chicken curry from home. I absolutely loved it. Recommend.“

“Was at the State Park Visiting family today and as we left we were hungry so got on the innerwebs and found this place, so we decided to take a chance. I’m glad we did. We walked in and got a table, the waitress greeted us and took our drink order. As soon as we got our drinks we ordered. She had the chicken fried steak which is hand breaded and I had the enchiladas which tasted freshly made. I’ll tell you what, this is some of the tastiest food I’ve had in a while. I’m glad we took a chance on this place and definitely will recommend it to anyone who asks! Good service and friendly people. Thanks to the staff for a great meal tonight!“

“I ordered 4 tacos (Azado, Barbacoa, and 2 chicharon). The chicharon and Barbacoa were my favorite, super flavorful (the chicharon was slightly salty but with extra lime juice it wasn't an issue). The Azado was larger pieces of pork, with a slightly smokey flavor. If the spice punched through a little harder it would be perfect, but I like the size of the meat cubes and the tenderness. The verde and rojo salsa are homemade and complimented the tacos well. I also ordered a small Jamaica, though it didn't taste fresh or home brewed (concentrate?). Unfortunately they didn't have any gorditas left, according to the cashier they often sell out quickly. For a total of 11.50, a fantastic spot on the side of the road with authentic Mexican food.“

Quesabirria

“I was driving around town looking for food and uninterested in any options I'd fine. I checked Yelp and saw pictures of the quesabirria tacos from this food truck. I was instantly salivating so I headed over. They were posted in Northgate and thankfully it was completely empty so parking and ordering were a breeze. The service was good, and the food arrived quickly. The order came with 3 quesabirria tacos, with limes, salsa, and Consomé (the meat juice). They were so delicious! Perfect size, good portions, and nicely crisp tacos with tender meat. I would certainly come back just for those. My only issue with them is how expensive the plate cost. It was about $4.50 each taco AT a food truck. Felt just blasphemous. Maybe that's to cover costs of choosing an ambiance like Northgate- if so, I hope they pic another location and reconsider these highly priced plates.“

“There are days you drive and just stop at what's available... Im glad I stopped. College Station and Bryan TX has a good sized population of Hispanic families so Im not surprised that I would find decent/ok/ good Mexican food. This place was surprisingly good and affordable. I ordered chile relleno and my wife ordered taquitos. I figured, go big or home right? Chile relleno is either good or trash.. im glad it wasnt trash.. hate paying for trash.. It had some crisp to the breading but not much didnt taste to eggy and the chile tasted like a chile. The rice and beans absolutely great!! The flour tortillas were homemade... so on a mexivan scale of 1-10... solid solid 8 1/2 The flautas were good, fresh.. yes I tasted them!! Im a fatty!! Of course I did. I had a pineapple water.. changed it to a Dr Pepper.. not the best... my wifes horchata also was lacking flavor. I may come back next time im in town.“
