“This restaurant's food is very acceptable. I had the grilled meat plate and it was freshly made and well-grilled. I did not feel the taste of Turkish food, sumac and Turkish spices taste were missing. I guess they want to please a certain crowd, the casserole, steak and potato eater. However, the meat was good, tender and well grilled. I had the plate of appetizer and they were all good. The only down side is the price. My bill was $62.00. I only had a tea with my lunch. Had I ha al kebab and a drink, my bill would have been at least $35.00 which is really expensive for lunch at a neighborhood restaurant. I was in Dubai recently and found the food to be as expensive as here, but everything they serve you is the highest quality and so good you could die the next day happy! Which is not the case here.”

“I drive by all the time so yesterday I finally decided to try it out. I regret not trying it out sooner! I got the brisket loaded fries & they were so amazing that I called & made my mom come meet me for lunch! She had the chopped Brisket sandwich & we shared a banana pudding. Service was great & fast! The banana pudding was heavenly!”

“My husband, family, and I just tried this place for the first time this evening at the suggestion of our family members that live in the area. They said it was very good, so we scoped them out. We ordered the stuffed pizza and the chicken pizza. Although my in-laws had already eaten dinner, they tried the pizza my husband chose and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Previously, they had only tried regular/general pizzas offered or what was on special. I rarely like pizza, but this place was so good! So much so, I was looking to see if there was one in our area (Spring - 2920ish) so we can order again from home. I highly recommend this place!”

“I’m absolutely in love with this Pastel Pizza location. The yuca papitas with cheese are simply delicious perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and cheesy inside. The pastelitos, especially the bacon and the ham with cheese ones, are always fresh, flavorful, and never greasy.
The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, making every visit feel special. The place is clean, spacious, perfect to sit down and enjoy your meal, and it even has a great kids’ area, which is amazing for families. I come back every chance I get, even if I have to drive 30 minutes just to eat here because it’s so worth it.
For me, it’s not just about the food it brings back warm memories of Venezuela and feels like a taste of home.
On top of that, they have a great points program that gives you discounts the more you visit, which is super cool and just makes me want to come back even more.

The only downer was that they ran out of Mac n cheese which is my wife's absolute fav side, but it was Thanksgiving so understandable. “Went to El Palenque after a lapse in time of visiting. Found they were under new management. Orders Pollo Con Crema, Pablano, order of tortillas and one Margarita to go. Pollo Con Crema was very salty, the Stuffed Pablano was only 1, and never received the tortilla's after being asked if it was flour our corn, a few times. Got home with my bag, no tortillas. Order was just under $40.00. Very disappointed. Until they 'regulate' their menu, prices and service, I won't be going back for some time. One Pablano 'dinner' was $18.00. Come on now. Pollo Con Crema used to be my go to but not now. The chicken was good but all served on top of the refried beans. Was a soupy mess.”

Every time I have frequented them, I have been greeted with a nice, gentle ambiance with no loud or destructive TV, music, or unwanted political opinions. As I have no car and ride a bike, I appreciate neither chilly nor sweltering temperatures. Usually, there are couples having lunch, and children aren't boisterous or running around being annoying or destructive.”

Years later I moved to the Woodlands and met this wonderful person. I sampled so many Korean meals and it wasn’t long before I see the beginning of Yori Wow. In its second location now and I want to say go there! Try her food,! It’s worth the trip. Call ahead if you need a large order.”

“The good: huge space inside with large outdoor area amd stage as well, drinks were made perfectly, staff was fantastic (all of them), lots of food options and everything was delicious, affordable and not overpriced, and the owners are the absolute best people you will ever meet.
The only bad:. The kitchen was absolutely not prepared for the crowd and it took close to two hours to get your food after ordering. To be fair, it was a Texans play off game and the place was packed, but it left many people pretty frustrated when the kitchen fell apart.
I definitely recommend stopping by and experiencing it for yourself. They always have something going on (live music, karaoke, events, etc.) and I am certain you will love the place!”
