Native Houstonian living out of state on a trip to visit family. Craving REAL Tex-Mex! Son suggests meeting at a place on Aldine Westfield. I’m like it’s gotta be good then ?. Very friendly service, great selection and true Texas style Mexican food! Had queso with chorizo to start. Excellent! Next was chicken mole which I was craving. Very good as well!! Definitely worth the trip!!

The food was sub par, the service was... Well they tried but still fell short. Way to expensive for what you get. it was so much better in the past. Oh!! Watch yalls reciptes if you do go. They charge an "automatic gratuity" of 20%. If God asks me for only 10%, what makes you think ill pay 20% for bad to not so good food.

Nice Mexican restaurant. Nothing fancy, but good mexican dishes. Some inconsistency lately. May be due to chef change, I don't really know. We ordered flautas on two different occasions, plates looked completely different. They were good though. Waitstaff is always friendly. Portions adequate for prices. Overall: good little lunch spot.

This place is on the higher end of meh Mexican food, the portions are normal for a Mexican restaurant, but the tortas are poorly filled, very disappointing. The salsa and chips were good. Now let's talk about pricing.. uh, hell no! This place is extremely overpriced for what they serve. In no way would I ever return or suggest to anyone. The food was meh! Every time I come here I am impressed. I will be honest, the bathroom is a little scary. They have these frog sculptures that frighten me. Ok so sure they don’t know that I am scared of frogs but come on. Why would they put that sculpture by the bathroom. The food is always outstanding. Plus the atmosphere is welcoming. The chef is great. Love this place!
