Kan's Sushi & Steakhouse

Pleasantly surprised at how cool this place was. Staff was friendly, environment felt right, the food was really good. I’d say this is a nice hidden gem in an area that could use more food diversity.

It was an excellent dining experience from the moment we walked in the door to when we left. We were greeted at the door by a friendly waitress and were seated immediately. The restaurant is extremely clean and very well put together. The ombiance is fantastic and sets the stage for an authentic Japanese cuisine. I wouldn't say the food is great. Not bad but not great. I got the Chicken Nebayaki Udon and although the broth was decent, it was a little too peppery. I wasn't a big fan of the cubed, grilled chicken either. It was a little dry and tough. My boyfriend got the Bento dinner and it was the same cubed chicken. Not bad, just not great.
