I've never been to a Mellow Mushroom I didn't love! This 1 is no different. The mmq pizza, pretzels, and beer cheese are amazing! It's the only pizza place I go to.

So I finally broke down and strayed from my usual go to pizza place to give this place a try since they have a nice gimmick and curb appeal. Large menu including vegan options and not only pizza but burgers and more. Prices are fair. The place was clean inside staff was friendly. The place was very empty when I went two staff at door two in the kitchen and one at the bar. A large dining area but no patrons. A little wonder some was it the time of day or food ? I got a large cheese pizza it was a little crispier than I'd like but being a stone oven pizza it was expected. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. Thick crust with a Parmesan buttery flavor and season. I also got an order of their pretzel bites hard pass. Didn't taste like a pretzel at all more like a dough ball or bread seriously. Will I repeat doubtful.

I love their pizzas, especially the Pacific Rim since it has caramelized onions, pineapple, and jalapeños. Keep up the good work guys!

Love it when I'm wowed by a first experience! Saw this whole house hunting and we decided to order from them later in the week. Tried the Holy Shitake mushroom pizza (adding bacon) and it was heaven. We will be adding this as our 'go to' pizza place from now on.

The food was meh . Service was worse. Scotty was weird and annoying cause he didn't bring me my food. Tanisha wouldn't bring me my lemonade and Ella's whole meal was her two ibuprofen pills. Literally the reason my bf broke up with me.

Got food poisoning on Sunday 5/29/22, it's Tuesday 5/31/22 and I am still dealing with it. I'm currently at the hospital with my girlfriend, this is her second visit since Monday. We both ate the pretzel bites with the beer cheese and shared a small pizza with just pepperoni. We came all the way from the heights to visit mellow since that one closed down. That was the only thing we ate that day and after our stomachs were having some pain, we figured it was due to the amount of cheese on the pizza but now I just don't know. I know this can happen anywhere you eat but this is just unacceptable.

Usually I would love this place but this time we order to go (my husband got it ) and the salad was missing all the protein!! No chicken no bacon, nothing like the pictures it advertises and the avocado with ugly parts ?? very disappointed .. and half the pizza burned (I usually love even the edges… please watch out for the quality !!

I’ve been a loyal customer of mellow mushroom for years. Both in spring and heights location. I can’t go many places to get gluten free pizza (without a ton of cross contamination). Many recent reviews had scared me into believing it’s gone way downhill. They do have a sign out front that says to be patient with their short staffing. However in my experience… It’s fantastic. Got seated immediately on a Thursday afternoon. Drinks (both alcoholic and non) came out right away. Tasted good. Put in our orders when we got our drinks and food came out on our second round of drinks. Perfect timing in my opinion. Pizza was perfectly crispy (I got gluten free house special) and everything was delicious. Server was great and attentive. I’ll definitely keep coming.

Prior to Harvey, I always thought MM was a hidden gem of a spot to be for pizza in the Klein area. We hadn't been in a while and it was on the path, so I thought I'd take my kids for some pizza! Sadly, I kinda' wished I hadn't... Upon arriving, there's a billboard of sorts screaming "be prepared to wait - we don't have enough workers." Okay - fair enough, thank you for the heads up. With a full parking lot, I was kinda' surprised that the restaurant was nearly empty. We were seated immediately and asked what we'd like to drink (easy enough) and if we knew what we wanted to order (not so easy since I'd barely even sat down). I asked the waitress to give us a few and she scooted off for the beverages. Upon her quick return, she asked again if we were ready to order and I said not quite. She said okay, I'll check back in a few minutes. No problem... The experience took a turn when I literally had to hunt her down after watching her take every order that came in after us for the next half hour! When I jokingly told her we didn't think she was ever coming back - she replied she was in the back helping the mulitude of kitchen staff seen congregating because they were short-handed. I said okay and ordered, even though she was in the dining area the entire time. I digress. Patrons that arrived later and after - still received their food before us. And I'm not talking about the ones whose orders were placed prior to ours - I mean after. I watched dish after dish arrive hot and steaming and we just waited. And waited. When I was able to grab her attention again and asked for an update - mysteriously the food came out and slightly warm at best. I ordered the meatball trio and the bruschetta (which came out very soggy). Wasn't too bad, but I've certainly had better. I will say they were decently portioned for appetizers. The pizza we ordered was a "BYO" (build your own in case you didn't know) ham and bacon (I have picky kids, lol). It was so covered in cheese (with very minimal toppings) that it was very unpleasing. The crust/base of the pizza was burnt. One of my children ordered a "BYO" burger and specifically requested it to be well done - no pink. The burger arrived medium rare at best (unfortunately, I didn't get a photo since the waitress was waiting at our table for me to check the food). When I showed it to the waitress, she proceeded to use very distasteful profanity in reference to the condition of the burger. The issue was that it was in front of my children and in a manner that even the guests seated across from her could hear it. Unacceptable!! Her apology seemed more sarcastic and unaccountable than sincere, based on her body language. She took the burger and came back - many minutes later - saying they were going to cook it further. At that point, I said nope - no, thank you, just take it off the tab. My kids ate what they could and we asked for the check. I'd had enough - they'd had enough. The final straw was when the check was brought. I was overcharged for the pizza by $3. Her response when it was pointed out was that the computer charges what is right and the menu isn't up to date. I laughed. Really? She did show it to her manager apparently and it was adjusted, but the responses... Boy, they left a very poor taste in my mouth. Not to mention, the manager never once came to our table. :-/ Ultimate take away: my kids are huge pizza lovers - aren't most??? LOL This experience left them too asking to not go back. :( *Full disclaimer - my thoughts and opinions expressed here are of my own and based on my own first-hand experiences.*

I ordered two take-out cheese pizzas for a teenager's birthday party (her ONLY request). They were not busy/it was late afternoon. They were so burnt and overcooked the kids couldn't eat it. The crust was hard as a rock (like break you teeth hard) The cheese was blackened. Even the cashier admitted it was bad. The 2nd cashier told me their pizzas are supposed to be blackened so people know they were cooked in a special pizza oven!!! I actually had to feed the kids something else. It was so hard it was inedible. Sorry, MM, you just lost all of our future business. They still charged me $40 for 2 terrible cheese pizzas we put in the trash.#WorstPartyEver #BurntPizza
