“What is not to like about a place that has great food and an even better story??? I saw this place, and it was quite busy. I ordered some chicken, of course, and was pleasantly surprised at one the taste and how jucy the chicken was! The crust and combined wet and dry seasonings were different, but somehow worked and gave it a unique but very tasty flavor. “Last time i’ve had Nandos was in Johannesburg, SA around 3 years ago and i’ve missed the sauce. I recently came across a TikTok and searched Nandos and it was only 12 minutes away!!!! I missed the sauce sooo much and today we decided to check it out.We got seated and was then told we could order through the phone or the register. They had a good playlist that made me feel like i was back in SA. We place an order through the phone and it was surprisingly easy ( i’m not good with technology but it wasn’t difficult at all). there was cups next to the fountain drink area so we served ourselves and the food was delivered no more than 10 minutes afterwards which was fast! It was a slow day due to the rain so i understand but get this, it was delicious!The sauce, same as i remembered! To remind you i used to eat that sauce with everything!!! i tried hot and toned down to medium because i’ve mellowed down on spicy food since i lived there but still was amazing!I ordered the boneless butterflied breast with peri chips (fries) with perinnayise, and the portuguese rice, and my boyfriend ordered the same breast with the peri mac and red skinned mashed potatoes, everything was delicious. The only thing is my man is not a big fan of fat so he had to scrape it off but he was still impressed!!We will definitely be going back and i highly recommend this place! “Sure, I'll come back to Jollibee's after my first visit and I would recommend as well. Is thier unnecessary hype about this place..... yes and ....also no. Meaning what I ordered was absolutely tasty, however, I didn't experience a mind tingling, eyes rolling back in the head, and weird groaning I have seen in videos of people tasting Jollibees for the first time. Also, to be fair, I didn't order the most popular and beloved dishes of Jollibees: the fried chicken and the weird sweet spaghetti with hot dogs. I mean, come on, I'm not eating hotdog dessert spaghetti. A lot of people do like it. I just know I will not be indulging. The fried chicken is probably good but I've made and had delicious fried chicken and I already know that I will get it when I feel like it and not be super impressed. Probably like it but not a top fave......I digress. I ordered a side of mashed potatoes with gravy, french fries, adobo rice, and a medium Pepsi. First the bad..... those cold, limp, and stale french fries were just plain gross and I definitely missed the calories. Whoever said they taste like McDonald's fries clearly doesn't respect themselves. The Pepsi tasted artificial and metallic as if it was cleansed and not rinsed. Blech! Into the trash! Now, the mashed potatoes and gravy are delish. The regular mashed potatoes needed a bit more gravy. By the way, the gravy is good thanks to it being seasoned well with salt and pepper. The adobo rice, that is seasoned well with charred bites of dark meat chicken is delightful! The best thing on the menu. Sooooo good! I could eat that once a week or once every two weeks. Oh, yeah. I also ordered a peach mango pie. The pie was amazing. It is peach forward and since I am not the biggest fan of mango, it was scrumptious to me. The rice and the mango were so delicious! They were very attentive and sincerely interested in our dining experience. The food was delicious as depicted in their menu pictures. The grill chicken had the delicious off-the-grill taste and the Tallarin Saltado was the perfect match of the pasta and beef. You order from the kiosk, the kitchen makes it in the back and when your order is ready, you get your food from a locker (a code is texted to your phone). I prefer the human interaction aspect of a restaurant but if you don't mind minimal contact -eat here. “I first of all want to say that i have pateonized Hoodadak many times before. Each time the service and the food was very good. I want to complain however about the shoddy customer service I received today. I order the large wings, half soy garlic and original. I ordered the original because my Dad does not handle spice very well. This is what i get everytime we come. I and my father tasted the original. It immediately set our mouths on fire with spice. I brought the chicken back to explain this and to see of they would refix the original side od the order as somebody in thw back emptied the pepper bucket on the chicken. Please note, my soy garlic wasnt spicy, but extremely salty. I was told by the clerk, basically i was not lying and refixing my order was futile. I asked to speak to the manager, after 5 minutes of waiting, all i got was an answer from the cook, he did not use spice on the original order. At this point, i realized it was futile and walked out. I will never patronize this place again, especially as the customer service from the employees is as shoddy as this and no one is willing to correct mistakes. I believe in getting what I paid for, and the attitude and actions I recieved suggested i just wanted something for free. You should really educate your employees about customer service and what spice is. I am very angry and disappointed in how I was treated today.“

“It has been years since I have been to canes. My first impression was not good because as I recall the batter on the tenders was a thick batter. I may be wrong but NOW it is amazing. Loved the light coating of batter and the juicy tenders. SERIOUSLY HAPPY!“
