“I visited Houston for spring break and decided to try Lotus Seafood. We ordered barbecue and lemon pepper wings, they were 10 out 10. The shrimp fried rice was good. I give it a 8 out of 10 only because the shrimp was the size of dimes, but other than that it was very well flavored! Overall I give them a 8.5 based on the cold fries, tables not being clean and the atmosphere not being inviting.“

But, a simple 8oz filet was $83 vs, a standard $50 at Flemmings or Ruth's Chris. Therefore I decided to share the 22 oz Waugh ribeye with my kids. It was the only economical choice. Our server (I wish I could remember his name, he was a sweetie!) was amazing, extremely attentive, and very kind. Rene (I believe is his name) the manager, was extremely thoughtful. He brought champagne as soon as we sat down and he also brought my mom a card at the end of the dinner. It was so thoughtful and amazing! The service was excellent, our cups were always full and our table was very clean at all times. The chickpea crepe, sourdough, and escargot were amazing! “Dined in on Sunday with a couple of friends and had Ryan as the server. He provided excellent servicing to my table despite the equipment supply issues that the store was experiencing. The atmosphere could use some improvements, particularly the AC, because it was extremely humid and hot in the dining are of the restaraunt. There was also an employee name Thanh that assisted in that making our experience enjoyable (bringing out our food extremely quick as well as condiments, gloves, bibs) especially for cleaning up the water spilled by another table nearby that manage to reach our seats and providing towels as well as a mat to my friend who had sat down on the chair with water on it and got their pants wet.The Food was outstanding, not much of a seafood person so I can't comment on their crawfish, shrimp and other boiled seafood options but absolutely love their Fish sauce and salt & pepper flavor wings, so much that I had to get several orders for takeout to eat later when I got home; was assisted by an employee in the front (unfortunately I didn't ask for their name but it was an Asian male employee).Parking: Much easier to find if you park in the back; where the curbside sign is. “Nice place. We went for a birthday celebration, with high hopes having been to Bludorn. Restaurant is run well, you can feel it, waiters serve the whole table at once (we were 5) which was a nice touch, with settings placed beforehand. Thursday night so not peak crowds. Started with oyster shooters which was fun. Moule frites and endive salad were both excellent, and they brought out their signature biscuits as well which were delicious. Entrees were all good, not great, which was a little disappointing. Dessert was very good though and the small cookies by the door on the way out was another nice touch.“
“We had Sunday brunch here with an out-of-town guest of ours. The menu didn't disappoint. All the dishes brought to the table were well prepared and fresh. The service was excellent. We went at 11:30 am, and the restaurant naturally got busier and busier. I recommend outside seating if you would like a quiet dining experience, as large parties congregate inside for birthday parties and other celebrations. Outside seating is a covered patio, but if it's hot and humid, you're on your own. Overall, this is my second experience at Gratify, and both visits were great. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves to eat well-prepared dishes with fresh ingredients. Valet will be your best option for parking unless of course you live in the Rice Village neighborhood!“

Avocado and piccolo de Gallo were good and fresh. cheese enchilada was not drowned in the sauce that it overpowered the enchilada like other places. Chips and salsa were great that even my daughter was eating. With every bit, my taste buds were going crazy. Restaurant is actually very big than what it looks like. Again, this is my #1 restaurant. I haven't tried delivery or to go because it never tastes the same with all the food mix, and depending on how long it gets to, you might get dry and soggy. I recommend eating there. The owner made appointments with me prior to the event to see the set up area. He was accommodating to my food requests, and he delivered everything I asked for. Level 3 out of 5 is perfection. The service during our last visit was outstanding. We celebrated a birthday here and our waiter was very accommodating and nice. Service makes a huge difference in overall experience. Interior is ok. Lots of cultural decorations and murals. Lots of natural lighting. No major wow factor but it's all about the food and service. They have specials on certain days of the week (I think either tTuesday or Thursday), so if you want a deal, something to consider.“
