“They have really good food options and even have their own snacks shop. We tried the following:1. Vegetarian pizza - it's kind of Indian taste pizza and really good in taste2. Vadapav - this was okayish in taste.3. Hakka noodle - won't recommend it ever. Very bad in taste.4. Manchurian - again something to not have while here.5. Cold coffee - it was okay in taste. You can have it once.6. Pista lassi. This is something very amazing in taste. I really loved it.They have a wide range of snacks to get from.“

“My husband and I have been here quite a few times and everything is very very delicious. Some of my favorites are the Misal pav, which is like Maharashtrian and Puna style and the Dabeli. The owners are really nice and the service was great too!“

“First time trying this place and it was so dang good!!!! Everyone was so kind and welcoming. I loved that they let you sub tofu instead of meat and the sandwiches were so full of flavor. I got the Tejano Caesar Zepellin and my husband got the Atlantis and damn!!!! Full of flavor. I wish you guys had a store in Conroe or Magnolia. “Etsub had been so nice and friendly with us. Service is top notch. Honestly, I've never been disappointed at an Ethiopian restaurant in my life and I've tried so many in California. “Hello everyone, To start, I can go on and on about how great this restaurant is. The sandwiches are always made so fresh and the owners are heaven sent. I have NEVER had a bad experience here. The service is amazing and after trying this place you will never settle for any other sandwich place in your life. “Great neighborhood restaurant! Lot's of different options in the menu and drinks. You can book a table if you want but we went on a Sunday night and there were plenty of free tables.The service was kinda challenging, not sure if this happened because we were outside and there were not so many customers at the time.The food is mainly responsibly grown and organic, so prices are a bit higher and portions are enough. Try the flourless chocolate cake!“

“I recently tried the Bahn mi sandwich with grilled pork at Roostar, and it was fantastic for just $7! I chose to sit outside and was pleasantly surprised by their lovely small garden area. The prices are reasonable, and the food tastes really good. The staff is incredibly friendly, which adds to the overall positive experience. With inflation hitting hard, finding affordable and delicious meals like this is a win-win. I’ll definitely be coming back more often and highly recommend Roostar to others!“

“My mom wanted a vegetarian meal for lunch and I remembered about this place when I was in the area, so we decided to try it out. I really enjoyed the decorations and atmosphere of the restaurant. It's my first time ordering from Galleria location and I had an issue with the time pick up so I called them to let them know and Jennifer was so accommodating and really did everything in her power to make the client (me) happy! “My husband and I ordered dinner through DoorDash tonight. I’ve been craving the Asian Chicken Salad and posole. He had the seafood pasta. Unfortunately, the chicken was left off my salad. I was so disappointed. Everything else was wonderful, and I understand mistakes happen so I’m rating a 4. By the time we received the order and opened it, the restaurant had closed. A note to those that pack the orders to check them extra carefully. An Asian Chicken Salad without your delicious chicken is just, a salad. We’ll try again another day.“

“We came here during Chinese new year and the tea house was closed bc of the festivities. There were a couple of outdoor tents that had food to purchase. Plenty of variety and were delicious.The temple had a few activities and crafts to buy. Very cool place, looking forward the the tea house next time.“

“This place gets very busy so the wait was a bit long. I ordered bun rieu and bun bo hue to-go. Good portion and only $6.50. However, it felt like they just completely forgot my order because I was waiting for a long time. I mean it was to-go? So all you have to do is prepare it as in put all the food in the containers. I got a little annoyed because people who came in after me got their food first. Don't know if they pre-ordered beforehand but it was a few times before I finally went up and ask where is my food.Anyways, for a vegetarian dish, it was flavored nicely and I think people who doesn't like vegetarian food will enjoy it too. Plus it's healthy. You can taste a lot of tomatoes in the broth, almost a little sour to me. The bun bo hue was interesting, definitely not your usual bun bo hue.“

“Go there. Just go. We've been eating at Duy whenever we are in Houston (seems like 20 years now), and this place is absolutely the tops. Seemingly endless options for vegan banh mi and vegan pho, with great rolls of various kinds, delicious homemade hot sauce, and a plethora of stuff to take away to reheat and/or cook at home. And EVERYTHING is DELICIOUS. The soup broth is perhaps the best vegan version anywhere. Houston is without doubt the premier place in the US for Vietnamese food, and there are plenty of great vegan spots (including Quan Yin, which is right around the corner from Duy, and San San Tofu, which is right up the street), and Duy is one of the very best. It's a true hole-in-the-wall, but don't let that put you off. Super friendly staff, too!“

“It's exactly as it says on the can - a "modern" Indian restaurant. Please do not expect traditional Indian food.Also, please do not expect South Indian food given the name of the restaurant. The food is a modern re-imagining of north Indian cuisine despite there being reference to thalis and whatnot. There is no rice in the Thali meal for some reason.As a modern Indian restaurant, the food is good. Especially the butter chicken and roti options are quite good. If you are an Indian like me and drop in expecting some pure Indian fare, you'd be disappointed.“

“I think the restaurant is called Pho Basil now. Me and my boyfriend came and ordered a chicken pho, shaken beef with rice, and beef spring rolls. It was the best pho in Houston I’ve tried! Sooo flavorful and the waiter was nice and food came out fast.“

“They have very tasty and affordable vegan and vegetarian Chinese food here.My favorite place for vegetarian food is probably San San Tofu on the Vietnamese side, but this place is good as well and has more options for baked goods and breads. Not that much seating but probably enough for 14 or so people total with very casual seating. I’ve only gotten take out here so far though and tried about 5 different dishes my favorite is the Taiwanese “pork” rice (滷肉飯) and the rice noodle stir fry.There’s a restroom upstairs for the plaza you can take the stairs or elevator or escalator up. The store is located in the plaza but you can’t see it from the outside since this like more like a mall building.5% charge if you use credit card but no extra fee if you pay cash or Venmo I believe. Sometimes they pick up the phone and sometimes they don’t but the cooked food is pretty fast regardless.“

The server was super friendly and knowledgeable, the food was delicious, the portions were large enough to share, and the restaurant had a nice vibe. When we went yesterday for lunch, though, it wasn’t at all what it was pre-covid. They did not have half the dishes we ordered, the portion sizes were greatly reduced, they forgot one of our orders and then claimed we never ordered it. When I showed proof of the order, they refunded our money, but did not explain or apologize for the error. It seems they now only carry pre-made food items like breaded soy patties, french fries, etc. Those who had the Happy Crispy Burger said it was tasty, but whatever they used in the Spicy Cha Cha was just fried and flavorless. The Lovepucinos were very good. Sadly, I can no longer recommend Loving Hut in Houston.“

“Let’s get into it ! This place is POC friendly and I love it. I found out about this hidden gem when I told my boss that I was about to break my fast and I couldn’t decide on what to eat because I was not too hungry, she suggested that I order ‘Chole’ which is basically chickpeas immersed in a bold chili flavored gravy along with 2 pieces of deep fried bread on the side and you know I had to try their mango lassi (Didn’t disappoint) … Omg it was so good I decided to go back the next day and this past Saturday. The customer service was AMAZING the owner took my order 8 minutes before they were closing and didn’t seem irritated by my late order and because of that my wallet will always have money for this restaurant . Go see for yourself and tip them accordingly ?“

“Great food. The triple Sichuan is phenomenal. It would be better if they included more sauce in it. The pav bhaji was just ok. Not worth upgrading for the cheesy one. The thali was really good and the best curry with it was the sambar. The coconut chutney wasn’t great. The pani poori was good. Kinda odd that we have to make it ourselves. “The food here was amazing, if you’re ever thinking of getting Indian vegetarian food I recommend this place. One of our favorites are the meals that you can get with rice, side, a sweet, and the rice of a day. I got the ghee dosa and it was amazing, it was light and crispy and had an equal amount sides for the dosa. Their mango lassi’s were also really good, they were sweet, creamy, and thick the perfect combination for an amazing mango lassi.Vegetarian options: The whole menu is vegetarian so each option wouldn’t contain any meat.“

“Oh my gooossshh! I am NOT vegan nor gluten free and I love me some meat and potatoes. Now with that said...This was the absolute best tasting vegan Mexican food EVER! The empanadas and enchiladas are amazing. The pupusas were just okay for me but they probably taste okay on their own. I happened to eat them after eating that empanada and tasting the enchiladas. Oh and let's not forget the vegan queso is EVERYTHING.This type of good healthy eating should not only be reserved for the Heights community. Open up another location on the north side PLEASE!“
