Came here for brunch and it was awesome. Miranda took care of me and my friends and it was great. The food was awesome especially the Carne Asada and breakfast tacos. She was awesome and had great service and let us know exactly how to navigate the menu and brunch. Will be back because of her!

This festive location in First Colony Mall was a treat for celebrating my friend's birthday at lunchtime on a Saturday. They had a talented singer outside on the corner with an array of equipment that helped him beckon the strollers by with great Cubano sounding Music ( daytime salsa dancing on the sidewalk a definite possibility!) The restaurant was quickly filling up at noon as I waited for my party to arrive. There was plenty of free parking in the nearby garages within easy walking distance. The location makes this an excellent choice for such a celebration. The hostesses were very accommodating and friendly and Jose' our server, took beautiful care of us. The food was great! I could have easily made a meal of the Queso, Chips and Guacamole. The Guacamole is the star of the show made at tableside so ultra fresh and delicious. My Enchiladas just a wee bit salty for my taste but only a mild distraction compared to the many positives. I highly recommend this spot for a sight, sound, taste, atmosphere, great occasion! Afterwards, what a treat to walk around and see the plaza area that hosted a Chess tournament that particular Saturday. Again, location-location-location....Vegetarian options: Not Vegan, but I had Guacamole, Chips, Salsa, Queso, Cheese Enchiladas with Rice and (no bacon) Beans. Delicious and filling!There are also other options such as Qusadilla's.Parking: There is a large free parking garage next door to Escalante's and one right across the street.
The food was utterly divine. Service was pretty good. Our waiter Michael was very entertaining, attentive and professional. Great experience, will be returning soon!

Warm and inviting person who recommended the best Tex-Mex I’ve had in years. Will be a life long customer for special occasions and will refer this location and to ask for Miranda if available. Escalante's is the definition of Mexican Fine Dining. I understand you usually don't mix those words together but here it works from top quality food, top shelf drinks and amazing service. My steak with the tequila peppercorn sauce was simply amazing and my wife's spinach enchiladas leftovers were epic the next day,lol. The Mango Margaritas are dangerously tasty and the selection of tequilas are phenomenal. But what made this a lifetime memorable experience was the service. We ordered the guacamole and Miranda, our server, turned a simple chip dip to an amazing tasty dinner show with her making this amazing appetizer right at our table. Made for the PERFECT DATE Night. Thank you Miranda and Escalante' chefs for a truly memorable evening.
