“Houston, Seafood City has landed. After years of hoping that we would have one just like LA and Vegas, it's finally here. We love the variety of choices - groceries (yes, the ice cream), baked goods, meat, and of course, Seafood. Prices are better here as well. And they are fresh. We just wished that the location was more in central Houston, for convenience and accessibility for all. Better, too, if they had Jollibee and Chow King. Seafood City is still highly recommended for all, not just for Filipinos, if you don't mind the distance. Merry Christmas and a Healthy New Year to all.“
“I had a great experience. I only wish I had taken a photo before I consumed it all. Everybody was friendly, even gave me a sample to try before I bought a plate which I believe is amazing! That speaks volumes about the chefs confidence to put good food on a plate. I would definitely come back.“
“Me and my Friend went here last Saturday for breakfast. He recommended good food and even explained how to order, and what to order. He is also very knowledgeable about US History, Military, Politics, Religion, and the same topics as his home country which is the Philippines. He even shared that this is the ONLY Filipino Restaurant around Bellaire. I like the ambiance in the morning because it is so quiet, but for sure it is also entertaining at night with their happy hour and music.I will recommend this to my friends as their food is authentic and feels like home.“
“Love the ube crinkles! It's the first bakery in the US where we saw a buko pie being sold, we got really excited but then it's sold out. We were offered a different but maybe almost similar item. We will definitely come back to try the buko pie next time.“
“Oh that pata was so delicious. This dish was recommended to us by the shop owner. No disappointment here. Crispy exterior and moist and juicy on the inside. Don't let me get started on that dipping sauce. That sauce just highlighted that scrumptious pork knuckle. It was so good we went back and ordered again. New owner and better food.“

“Gerry’s Grill was a pleasant surprise for us! It is a Filipino restaurant we did not realize as we came in. It’s in Asia town. But wow so much good food!!! ??? we had garlic adobo shreds, crispy pata (deep fried pork knuckles), grilled squid, bangoong rice, and mixed veggies chopsuey. It was all great and there was this garnish made from pickled papaya and carrot that was great! My sister and kept asking for more ? Then to top it off they had a band playing at about 8:30pm which we got to listen to as we let the food settle.Lastly, JJ our waiter was fantastic! Patient and friendly! We loved him! “
“I randomly drove into the lot on a whim (I had time to waste) and saw the place so I walked in. Not much on display. Nothing labeled so I asked the nice lady behind the counter. The fried banana was delicious. Crispy flaky sweet crust around a sweet banana. Yum. The dessert with coconut milk and jackfruit, taro, jelly was good too. They also had flan and halo halo and some savory looking dishes. Prices are cheap. Banana was like $1.99. The dessert bowl was $5.“
